7pm on ESPN+. Revenge game. ISU destroyed us in the second half last time and dominated us on the glass. We've cleaned up our rebounding and the Bengals haven't been playing as well lately. Don't let up now. We're in the drivers seat.
 
I will be working as a counselor tonight @ local/regional youth service's center here in Billings, something Travis used to do at a Washington State youth services center in Snoqualmie before he started coaching high-school basketball, so I won't be able to listen to the game tonight. Needless to say, we owe Idaho State a Missoula beat down !!!

Its a nailbiter! We are still all tied up! lol. I can tell you the men are mad at themselves for that second half and are primed for revenge. I hope they aren't too wound up to be honest.
 
How is ISU in this game? Shooting 31% overall and 21% from 3. Griz shooting 53% and 50% over the same time.
 
Good win and they showed some guts down the stretch. They really slammed the door on ISU when they cut the margin to two. Whitney has become such a clutch player during the last 4+ minutes of games. So awesome to see.
 
Griz had to beat ISU and the refs tonight. God damn that’s the worst refs we’ve seen since the Utah State game. These guys were awful. They gave ISU 5 free points on a phantom flagrant foul, and then awarded them the ball despite us getting the rebound allowing them to get 3 more points. Regardless, awesome job to slam the door and pull away after they got it down to 2. This team just continues to impress. 5 guys again in double figures and Sawyer was close. Onto Weber!
 
Don't think I've seen a Griz team with this much scoring ability maybe ever. What I love to see is them being resilient and shutting the door on opponents, whereas Travis' teams have often been prone to blowing huge leads and maddening momentum shifts.

The offense is really fun to watch. Can't say I've said that about a Griz basketball team in some time.
 
That was a feisty one tonight. Fun game. Second half took forever! Money was money, Whit was clutch and defense was stifling down the stretch. You could tell TD was fired up all game
 
Close game. Too close. just less than 5 minutes left in the game and ISU within 6 points, I was wondering why is Whitney sittin' on the bench. Coach finally puts him in and he scores 6 points and puts the game away.

Whitney and Kai each had 4 fouls. That’s why they didn’t play more. Regardless, it was 65-63 and ISU scored 5 total points over the final 7 minutes. That’s pretty impressive defense when things weren’t going our way most of the second half. Griz closed the game on a 16-5 run. They’ve been very good at closing out games. Something that had been a recurring problem for like the last 4-5 years.
