Ya srlsy tho, have we found who bubs are blaming for those 2 starters being suspended? Never heard something so crazy.
One served his suspension but MSC wouldn’t bail him out of ncaa-jail and Coach VI—in total bubcat fashion—announced the kid will return and start but then found out the kid is still ineligible. So bubcat.
The other played all season while ineligible, jeopardizing the whole season.
Last we heard, it was just muffins and paperwork and some bubkaren threatened to sue if we joked otherwise.

It wasn’t clear that Gipson was out. It looked like he might be out, but only those with a vested interest in Montana winning the game are absolutely certain of it. I’ve seen several angles and images where it looks like he might be in bounds. You see what you wanna see, I suppose.

But since Griz fan wants to go this route — how about the PI called on 3rd and 3 from the 11 that set the stage for the Griz to go up 24-14 rather than 20-14 or maybe not even score??

That was a questionable call that goes uncalled a large amount of the time. But Griz fans don’t want to talk about that call because it doesn’t fit the narrative.

Or how about the Hornets being penalized almost twice as much as UM? Until receiving a couple PI penalties in the middle of Q4, the Griz hardly had a penalty thrown against them and the officiating seemed quite one-sided. Lots of missed offensive and defensive holds that could have altered the game.

But all UM fan wants to do is complain about the one call they didn’t get on a play that may never have happened in the 1st place had the officiating not been in their favor for much of the game up til that point. How convenient.

You didn’t comment about the thug behavior of your player 46 when he took out our quarterback for the game. His planned targeting of our player who was taking your inmates apart was the primary reason the Griz lost the game.

Only a few penalties are reviewable and judgement calls are not reviewable.

Per NCAA instant replay rules, most types of calls are reviewable.
The most common things to come up that aren’t reviewable are penalties. Only these are reviewable (including when not called on the field):

Targeting

Blocking by the kicking team before its players are eligible to touch the ball on an onside kick

A player going beyond the neutral zone while kicking the ball

The number of players a team has on the field

A player making a forward pass or forward handoff when past the line of scrimmage or after a turnover (or a forward pass that becomes legal after another pass is ruled to be a lateral)

Illegal touching of a forward pass or a kick

Wondering if something was a catch or a fumble, or if a guy got enough yardage for a first down? They can review that. Want another look at that holding penalty? Tough.

Hauck doesn't say those things. UM was top 8 the past 2 years, and is ranked no. 9 now. UM was never been dominant. RTD is a phrase. UM is already back in the top 8 ballpark, and, with Johnson, could be much higher than that this year. It took Hauck only to year 2 to get UM back in the top echelon. If UM has Johnson for the Griz/Cat game, the Griz will beat the Cats.
