Is the 2023 Football Season Make-Or-Break For Bobby???

Talked yesterday with a starting player from the 1995 National Championship team, who attended the team reunion. He said that there was much discussion among the players from that team about Hauck, and the direction of our program. And, the consensus, according to him, was that Hauck's personality is not playing well with kids today. He belittles players and plays the tough-guy role, and they don't respond to that stuff these days. He will never change, because that is his personality. Also, the aged coaching staff is not relating to 18-20 year-old kids, and it is effecting recruiting.
These are some of the very points I have been making about our coaching staff. We need a totally new direction, with creative, energetic younger coaches, who understand football in 2023, instead of trying to coach football the way it was 20 years ago.
Just being the messenger, and providing a reality check from former Griz players who PLAYED THE GAME!

I know multiple current players and have met some of their friends. They like Bobby and have a lot of respect for him. They like how he treats and loves the team.

That's largely my experience with past and current players I know.

The larger love or hate is reserved for position coaches.

I am printing this quote and will show it to Bobby next time he is in town. I will let you know how long he laughs and how many times he snorts.

No surprise here. What do you expect him to do, agree with it?

Obviously the tough-guy attitude and not relating to players is killing the Griz, look how many entered the portal! Vigen on the other hand has it figured out with his calm, cool, collective attitude that resonates with so many, they're trying to push players to the portal to open up spots/scholarships cuz no one wants to leave

I agree to an extent what you're saying about kids today, but I'm going to look at the numbers and assume these kids love being here and love the coaching staff. Is it the younger assistant coaches? Who knows.......I also have personally talked with guys from the '95 AND '01 championship teams, and they tend to disagree. Crazy world we live in that we can talk to certain people and post about their comments to fit a narrative. Keep on keepin' on....Dilly Dilly!

Wanna tell me again what Bobby 2.0 record against the Cats is???

Is it possible to do a survey of Growler’s pseudonyms? I believe that about 38.7% of them thought Bobby was a great hire the second time around. Mods can check my work for accuracy.

No, I expect him to post it in the meeting room as exhibit "A" of the absolute horseshit spread on egriz and, and use it to explain why its a waste of time for them to come here or ever read any post of yours, or use it as TP next time he's fly-fishing up near Melville.

At no point in the original rambling, incoherent post, or your follow-up response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought regarding the coaching staff and then the Griz record vs the scats during Bobby 2.0. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having watched you completely change the point of your argument when you were called out. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Spin it ,baby! Take a break or double-up on your Preparation H.

i would bet every dollar I have that, if a poll were taken of the entire Griz nation fan base, more fans would favor a change in our head coach than those wanting to keep Bobby. Just the facts. This board does NOT represent the majority of Griz fans. Visit The Mo Club, or Red's, or Stocks, and bring-up the topic. You'll be educated.

Hoops you have stated redundantly that conference championships don’t count but then you turn around and brag that boy Bobby has five of them. The best part is when I asked you when the last one was you ran away and hid…again.

Wait, I’m confused. Are you still posting as “Oldschoolhornet” before fall arrives, or does the self-imposed moratorium only apply to certain of your screen names?

I have never said conf championships don't count. In response to someone saying Hauck had had no championships, I said he had 5. Just stating the facts. I often don't respond to idiots like yourself. Stupid posts, and stupid questions.

I believe this question will answer itself. If he is given a new contract before the season starts then we and he can assume it is not make or break. I think it is obvious there were some off season discussions that took place or I doubt he makes the changes he has. But no contract, 3 or 4 losses one to the cats at home and It probably gets a little dicey. I found it hilarious that in one of his recent press conferences he said he wasn't aware of the status of his contract and didn't pay attention to such things. Right.... Anyone who believes that is binge watching Fox entertainment and follies 14 hours a day because they enjoy being lied to.

MSNBC and CNN are far better when you're looking for lying.

Wow, not even match the hatch for you. A bread ball or a potts stinky bait and you grab ahold. Only a full blown masocisht could suck up the Fox daily lying and feel good about himself. Somewhere your education has failed you.

Fox improved their lying with removing Carlson. Just need Hannity and Laura next, then they should be golden.
