Look it’s all irrelevant. The Griz have never been a dominant FCS program like Nebraska was. It was a stupid comparison.

Seven title appearances in 15 years and two maybe three of the top ten fcs teams of all time. I’d take that and call it dominant.

And yes, 1996 Marshall was the best fcs team in history and second best is the waste size of the average bizzzzzzun fan away. In fact, you could take all star teams of the best bizzzzzun teams and that Marshall team would put up 56 on em.

The 2013 Bison had arguably the greatest FCS defense of all time. Marshall never faced a defense like that and the NDSU offense would have limited Moss’s time on the field.

It's very reminiscent of the Steinbrenner era Yankees. He paid what every it took to win a pennant. This is the "culture" of NDSU. "You need more money for a trophy? Ya sure you betcha them boosters they'll pony up."
There are other FCS programs following suit but I choose the bison because they are closest, easiest to follow, and their fans are the most obnoxious but easiest to troll
