Thanks for the affirmation. :thumb:
As for keeping the thread civilized digger, you didn't even make it through the second post.
ok, mr. we'llneverbeinvestigatedbythen.c.a.a! :foot: that was some solid stuff. keep up the good work mike wallace.
Dude, if I posted everytime you were wrong, I'd need a team of 10,000.
MrTitleist said:I like how you guys throw out what posters on the board are damaging UM athletics, and the University, yet most of you making these accusations have never met the person you're accusing of hurting athletics..
ilovethecats said:egriz is far from the problem. no doubt some of the posters here contribute to your current issues, but this is nothing new. you guys have had so much success to be happy about...but with success comes problems. people become blinded with success and winning at all costs. players become celebrities instead of students. others begin turning a blind eye when issues arise. it's why you rarely here of crappy schools having issues like this....
but this is nothing new. schools have issues. players do stupid things sometimes. fans become too involved. in the end an investigation will be done, players will leave or be dismissed, people will lose jobs, boosters will be looked at, and you guys will move on.

Social media/message boards in general create a "new normal" to the sharing of newsworthy events, good, bad or indifferent it's the way people spread news and info now. So part of the problem? No.

It just seems that there are allot of lurkers on this board, posing as Griz fans while they have some axe to grind. Maybe you are not in that class and I have you read wrong. Fair enough?
I agree with you on a number of these issues, including the unrelenting jock-sniffers that think the Griz can do no wrong. On the other hand, I’d probably fall out of my chair if I ever read a post from you that was anything but negative. Again, just my opinion.
I completely disagree about that conference “catching up” to the Griz. Agree to disagree on that one.
At the end of the day, who give a shit? Its e-griz after all.
Peace.

I don't think it's our job as fans to fact check things posted by official news sources... I would hope they would do their jobs and post real things. Just like it shouldn't be our job as patrons of a bar to card other patrons before buying them a drink, we leave that to the staff and bouncers
but with that... eGriz isn't the problem, but it may help visualize the problem![]()

GrizLA said:there is sure a lot of blaming going on up there....how about we let the investigations clear those who are neither accused, nor guilty but are now being openly discussed on this site and others. A website like eGriz is not the problem..some of the posters might be, but the facts are not out there completely. It often appears that some posters are entirely too close to the athletic program and that might be a legitimate concern. I am always suspect of middle aged adults and older that are over zealous about their college team...seems successful programs just have to carry that sort of baggage, but it is not good...just give money and show up for events....it is basically for the UM community, win or lose. eGriz is a plus, not a detriment. Attacking messengers is one of the oldest reactions to bad news...
The only agenda you have is drinking all the bud light of the world...AZGrizFan said::lol:   :lol:grizindabox said:Raider, here is my agenda. That's my "agenda" too...yet I often get accused on here of having an agenda. :? :? :?
