Enough of this childish "good fan - bad fan" crapola! Everyone who wastes precious minutes of their day posting here is a Griz fan, except for the visitors who come here to give us sh*t or discover what makes Griz Nation so special among FCS schools.

egriz is far from the problem. no doubt some of the posters here contribute to your current issues, but this is nothing new. you guys have had so much success to be happy about...but with success comes problems. people become blinded with success and winning at all costs. players become celebrities instead of students. others begin turning a blind eye when issues arise. it's why you rarely here of crappy schools having issues like this....

but this is nothing new. schools have issues. players do stupid things sometimes. fans become too involved. in the end an investigation will be done, players will leave or be dismissed, people will lose jobs, boosters will be looked at, and you guys will move on.

that's all true. teams like usc, alabama, oklahoma have all had things happen and been put on probation and they've moved on. the only thing that probably bothers our die-hard fans is having to think about how all the winning is or may be tainted and having to be reminded of that by some cat fans and others for years.

Raider, here is my agenda. I support UM athletics, but the Player Reps of the world, the boosters that can not stay away, make me sick. I support UM athletes, but when they screw up, it needs to be dealt with. I am realistic to understand that the rest of the Big Sky is catching up with Montana, even with the advantages they have. Is this having an agenda?

It just seems that there are allot of lurkers on this board, posing as Griz fans while they have some axe to grind. Maybe you are not in that class and I have you read wrong. Fair enough?

I agree with you on a number of these issues, including the unrelenting jock-sniffers that think the Griz can do no wrong. On the other hand, I’d probably fall out of my chair if I ever read a post from you that was anything but negative. Again, just my opinion.

I completely disagree about that conference “catching up” to the Griz. Agree to disagree on that one.

At the end of the day, who give a shit? Its e-griz after all.

there is sure a lot of blaming going on up there....how about we let the investigations clear those who are neither accused, nor guilty but are now being openly discussed on this site and others. A website like eGriz is not the problem..some of the posters might be, but the facts are not out there completely. It often appears that some posters are entirely too close to the athletic program and that might be a legitimate concern. I am always suspect of middle aged adults and older that are over zealous about their college team...seems successful programs just have to carry that sort of baggage, but it is not good...just give money and show up for events....it is basically for the UM community, win or lose. eGriz is a plus, not a detriment. Attacking messengers is one of the oldest reactions to bad news...
