If that's what you're looking for I'm sure Stafford and Romo are your two favorite NFL QBs and you must think that Jameis Winston surely didn't deserve the Heisman. In most games Weyer was pulled early in the second half, thus not padding his stats. He only threw four INTs all year. Cook had two games where he threw for four or more INTs. Butte's receivers should get a lot of the acclaim for Cook's accomplishments. Daum (please land him Griz) is amazing and as a whole the Butte receivers were the best in the state. I believe that Weyer will have a successful career for the Griz and Cook will never start a game at the FBS or FCS level at QB. I see him adding a couple lbs and being an athletic offensive lineman if he wants to.
Buttes recievers were/ are very good. Both Daum and Granger deserve a look. I disagree that Cooks accomplishments should be diminished in any way due the offense style. When you put up 400+ in the air and 150 or so on the ground week in and week out, well, yeah. He is a hell of a QB. As for him vs Weyer, weyer is a great prospect who benefitted from a superb team. Cook is a better B baller. Actually he's a lot better than any of the current Griz big guys, but that's not saying too much. I'm very happy to get Weyer, but Cook had a phenomenal HS career.
