Importance of Pro Days

I think Tommy Mellott would disagree with that. His Pro Day is exactly why he got drafted as was stated by many NFL scouts and experts. He wasn’t really getting a huge look until he had those huge numbers at his pro day. Then he had work out after work out with a number of teams ultimately leading to his draft. That’s just one small example. I bet that happens all the time.

Actually if you talk directly to Tommy he hadn’t visited with the Raiders at all or had long convoys with them like he did several other teams. In fact when he got the call from the Raiders he wasn’t even sure it was real. You’re now batting .000000000000000012 on this site with 312 backward Ks.
