I'll say it

Based on what exactly? By rule he was established.
That's why we have this controversy. Established isn't defined.
Let me make this CRYSTAL CLEAR, in MY opinion he wasn't Established before the catch. It appeared to me, when he stepped or jumped toward the ball, 1 foot was still on the chalk! Had it been from inbounds to out of bounds,,1 foot on the chalk would be ruled incomplete, no catch! I know 100%, I'm correct on that part. So, who wouldn't the opposite apply?

I know, that's too much common sense!

When he lifted the right foot off the white, his left foot was fully inbounds before his jump to catch.

This thread proves you jokers are the biggest bunch of wanker fans in the entire BSC. Furthermore, Everett, you are one of the biggest, flappiest pussies to ever post on the interwebs. I'm ready for my annual ban now. 💀

I've always wanted to say that. Thank you for giving the me opportunity. 😆

I thought he reestablished. And the right foot, the heel was up off the chalk in my opinion.

If that play happened in reverse as you reference, it would be a catch. He would have one foot down inbounds before hitting the white.

Oh yeah, because you guys didn’t have a meltdown or anything over officiating last year at all. 🙄

And if anyone is an expert on flappy labias, it would be you FCC. Maybe get yours looked at by a plastic surgeon so you stop feeling so inadequate about it.

He re-established himself if his toe coming back in bounds counts. There’s some controversy there. Where the bigger issue is the language says “immediately” comes back into field of play. The receiver did anything but return immediately. He ran out of bounds another 3-4 yards. I confirmed with an official I know, they blew the call bases solely on the Fact the receiver did not immediately return.

The ones who know the rules the best, and that is none of us, spent a lot of time looking at it and made their call.

The refs didn't cost UM the game. The Griz had 60 minutes of playing time to win or lose. The Griz lost.

I watch a lot of games at all levels and can tell you that I scratch my head on a lot of calls or no calls. I'm just glad that I am not the one making the calls. I have been an official in the past and can tell you that it is not easy at all. They do their best and get it right most of the time. Sure they miss some. It's all part of the game. The only ones who are right 100% of the time are the fans.

The expectations were so high for the Griz, that it was going to be nearly impossible to make everyone happy.
That’s why they go to review at the conference level and those morons with the rule book in front of them made the wrong call. Thats what people are pissed about.

The officials in this conference are a joke. But also Montana should never have a team like Weber score 50+ on them ever so there’s that.

Purely a judgement call.
