Take away a 20 yard run that took advantage of an edge blitz by Weber and his average for the day was the same as the other backs. Peter can't take on tacklers and fall forward, he's just not big enough. He'd be much better suited as a slot receiver, as said already.
2. Offensive line play. I won't pretend to know enough about Stitt's offense to say it's a scheme problem or whether it's an execution problem, but the fact is that our running game is terrible and we're down to a third QB. Get a fullback in there, bring in a tightend, do something to keep the QBs upright.
3. Get the ball to our All America caliber receivers. Henderson and Jones should both be catching 6-8 passes per game, at least 10 yards down field. Chase Naccarato on a 3 yard screen is not the answer. Getting Roberts and Carlson involved in the middle of the field would be a big help as well.
1. Running game issue is because of #2. Does not matter who is carrying the rock.
2. Its an execution issue.
3. Isn't happening because of #2 and because of inexperience at the QB position. Much easier said than done.
