I think uconn proved that you can't use the common opponents argument with any consistency when they lost to 'cuse today. I really do think the commitee will put UM and GU together in the first round....at least, I really hope they do.
Be careful what you wish for CDA. It wasn't that many years ago the Zags pulled off the shocker when they were overlooked ny a ranked team. History has a good way of repeating itself because no one seems to learn from it.
I agree you play Gonzga straight up. I put Dlouhy on Morrison because he has shown he can play some D, plus he has decent size. If AM was real athletic no one could stop him. If he gets 25-30 so be it, we need to make sure Raivio doesn't go off, and we must limit the second chance points. Gonzaga is known for crashing the Offensive boards as well as anyone. Hopefully the refs don't give AM NBA like calls and everyone else BSC type calls. AM is tough enough, he dopesn't need any help.
I don't think Few will necessarily look past the Griz, but I think his team will. You can tell them how much better the Griz are, but they only have history to go on and that may help Montana.
I see your point, but you have to understand that this is a win win situation for me. ZAGS win, great they should. GRIZ win, maybe the start of something special and we get two great teams in the PNW. See, UM can't hang with the big shots unless it's a team like GU who is only slightly more athletic, so this would be good for UM. Furthermore, it would be good for GU to win so they have a test in the first round instead of a cupcake.
