Idaho coach Eck to New Mexico

I think the FBS movement is slowing down to a point it is almost done for now. I also don't believe any FBS conference is eager to invite a FCS school.
 
Looks like Eck is bringing both coordinators and Oline and Dline coaches with him to ABQ, which means all the internal options are gone and Idaho is gonna have to go outside the program now to make a hire.

I was thinking about this last night too, but from and Administration standpoint, I'm not sure how attractive the Idaho job is. Between the whole Volleyball scandal and then the Women's Basketball coach abruptly resigning last Summer, I'm not sure things are all that good in the athletic department. I think their AD may be in over her head and making things tough behind the scenes. Guess we'll see.

Seems like a dumpster fire in Moscow.

We’ll see if they can find an extinguisher.

I have heard that the AD was a driving factor in Eck actively looking to leave and was far from liked within the football program, even down to the players.

I could see that. She's not running a very good operation over there. All of the good coaches have kind of weeded themselves out while she continues to give the bad ones the benefit of the doubt.
