U of M's acceptance rate is at 94% because we also have Missoula College, which is a college of Technology where students can earn certifications and associates degrees. The Missoula College also teaches remedial classes that allow smart but underachieving students who feel like they have it in them to earn a Bachelors degree or beyond but dinked around in high school. Montana-Idaho....much much worse back in the day. Can't imagine what it would be like now if we still played them in football every year. Especially on eGriz

Yeah i remember that it got bitter back then. Strange thing is I know few people that went to Moscow and even one current player. Even he thinks they won't ever be competitive at the FBS level and we just had a conversation a few weeks ago about how he thinks they should go back to the Big Sky. It was a good rivalry that is for sure and some great games. I think all the attention EWHOO got after the Oregon State game really went to some of the fans heads. They are really good offense though it will be by far the toughest game the Griz have played yet.

None of the blown calls resulted in points. All the pi calls were valid and there was one on Wilson in the endzone they didn't call. There was defense holding they waved off too. These are the same officials that travel to most bigsky teams every year. The fact anyone ever says the refs were payed or whatever is a complete joke.....win through adversity take advantage of what you control. CP had 3 drives and a short fg to ice the game. They missed the opportunity and we capitalized. That's what good teams do

We had dinner with the ref. crew after the game. Only one is from Montana (a Carroll grad.); the rest are from Washington and Oregon. They did think they got the fumble call wrong. They consider Walsh a whiner, as they did Pflugrad.

The determining factors in the game were the blocked kicks; not sure what the ref's role in those were.....

Ray Ray, nothing personal but if you interact with your office mates like you do online, I can see how they might delight in pulling your chain! Lighten up, enjoy the rivalry week, hope your beloved team wins and you get bragging rights for a year. And while I don't condone messing with your poster, I'll bet, if you look at things objectively, you've said or done some things (maybe about the field, stadium, school or fans or such) that weren't "kind" too!

I know my experiences with your fan base has been mixed (both here online and in person) ... Some great folks and some people that took things way too far in the other direction but I sure don't want to paint everyone that is a Griz fan as a jerk and it's hardly fair to do it to us either.

I did not mean to paint every EWU fan as a Jerk. Heck I know a couple that are really great guys. Just not until this year have I witnessed the absolute bitter hatred in this rivalry that used to only be seen during the Griz-Cat rivalry. I even went to game at Roos Field with one of them last year(Only football game i go to see) and they were friendly there since I wasn't stupid enough to wear Griz gear or be disrespectful. I am all for some fine ribbing and some pregame banter but I in no way see the RAPE U as good Banter. There are plenty of Jerks that are Griz fans as well. I guess i just don't like living in enemy territory. I was out of Country for most of the last 4 years and never knew how deep the rivalry had gotten. It got me a little off guard. You for one have always seemed rational in your posts. I just don't get this obsession with many Eagles fans that somehow it is the MT fans base "INTIMIDATING THE REFS" or bribing them that is why they win games. IT JUST SOUNDS LIKE A LOONY TINFOIL HAT WEARING CONSPIRACY THEORY AND I DON"T GET WHY SO MANY JUMP ON BOARD.
