Probably none of the above.......

The only real agenda most of you have is defending the program, and the fired coach and AD. under some misconception that an acquital (or stong majority in a hung Jury) will will make everything right The DOJ, DOE and NCAA will all go away the reputation of the school, program and individuals involved will all be restored. And if that fails it can all be blamed on the girl.

This is a stretch, even for you.

Honest question (which I am sure you will avoid).

What are you going to do when this is all over? Your purpose on this board is down to the last couple days, one way or another. What will fill the void?

Spring ball is not too far away, there are at least a few posters on this board who know something about football hopefully they will have something to say. I was here long before this mess and will be for a long while after.

No particular reason to register. You need to get over yourself. Beyond Wahlberg there isn't much else to read let alone comment on. How many move up threads dose one need to read. This has at least been entertaining.

Liar. Admit it and leave. You are not interesting. We all figured you out a long time ago.

Says the guy who spent 95% of his posts talking about the problems at UM.

I'm sure you'll stick around, though. There will eventually be some injustice that you'll need to champion in the future in a morally superior way.

Well that is where you are wrong, if I was boring you wouldn't waste near as much time arguing with me, name calling or accusing as you do. FWIW I do think he did it, not much will change that. I also would be very disappointed if he were convicted. There simply isn't enough there to convict him. I also don't think THIS kind acquaintence rape is the same class as Donaldson. We have a screwed up legal system and little ability to handle this kind of situation.

nice try...Milt didn't blame the environment as an excuse to what Donaldson did, he blamed the environment for the harshness of the sentence. But don't let that little difference get in your way.

The harshness of the sentence for an admitted rapist?

Some of you are beyond description.

Reading comprehension fail. As reported by ESPN:

"It is certain," Datsopoulos said, "that the environment created in Missoula is responsible for the 10-year sentence. "[Donaldson] did the right thing; he is a quality guy; he told the police what he did; he wanted to clear it up, and it has cost him dearly."

Perhaps you believe that Beau's attorney doesn't have a right to be as supportive of his client as possible or maybe even have an opinion (however biased) based on experience? Surely your incredible experience in these matters outweighs anything else. Just out of curiosity, exactly how long have you been an attorney in Missoula? Oh yeah, and what is you name so I am sure never to call you if I ever need legal representation.

Hey, he admitted it. 10 years for admitting to raping somebody is too extreme! Good Gawd. Is there something wrong with the water in Missoula these days?

If your attorney doesn't believe in you then you have the wrong attorney or are a genuine dirtbag. Rapist or not, I don't think BD is a dirtbag. He is a young man who made a terrible mistake and will pay with a lifetime sentence. I only hope the victim can move past this and rebuild her life.

Hate to say it - but your avatar does not lend any credibility to your statements. Brutal.

I wonder about somebody who doesn't think an admitted rapist is dirtbag. :(

Would you let him date your daughter? If so, would it be for access to the Griz program?

Also, there are a lot of defense attorneys who don't believe their clients. They are paid to get their clients not convicted, not to believe in every case they take.

I realize that you think I am defending the guy and it is probably too complicated for you to believe I am not. I am only suggesting a reason why attorney's make supportive statements even for guilty clients. It really isn't all that unusual, but then again you didn't even know that Milt was the one who originally made the statement so you don't seem to care enough to be bothered with facts. Carry on.

I don't think Beau Donaldson is a dirt bag? Wow! Not sure what it would take for you to classify someone as a dirt bag? Beau Donaldson is a sexual predator. I would have shot that fucker if it was my daughter. And not to kill, at first. If you followed his trial it wasn't his first indiscretion. What the fuck is wrong with you? I repeat, what the fuck is wrong with you??

You're right about one thing, Beau Donaldson isn't a dirt bag. Beau Donaldson is a piece of shit dirtbag that should be held in prison much longer than the minimum time that he will do.

Well I happen to know a victim of sexual abuse EXTREMELY well, in fact I know several. It isn't always how you think it is. It is a terrible crime for which there is appropriate punishment and the victim moves on. With time and help they can become whole again while the perpetrator never will be. It is a stiff punishment.

Wow. This board amazes me at times, and not in a good way.
