I was at this game, and in general I thought the game was pretty well officiated. Washington's style of defense just lends itself to a lot of handchecking and pushing. Probably fouls, but rarely called on them.
That said, I will readily agree that there was a five or six minute stretch where it really appeared the Huskies were being given a huge scoop of home cookin'. Every call during that period of time was questionable at best. But, that tends to happen on the road.
What really impressed me is that the Griz battled right back: Had calls going their way, lost the lead, got down five and then battled right back to to tie it. I think most Griz teams would have folded their tents and gone on home in that situation. I was proud of the way the Guys played.
