Replace UW with UM and at the FCS level the exact same thing can be said about Griz fans. UM doesn’t intimidate other Big Sky teams like they did in the past, and with attendance reaching embarrassingly low numbers and a lack of marketable degrees offered, I don’t see how that will change anytime soon.
