yes. I would not be shocked to see the 2-deep with cam starting and then game day see Dalton run out on the first possession.
 
Depth chart says Sneed OR Humphrey on gogriz.

Villaneuva OR Pillans.

O'Connell OR Rice OR Nagler.

Sulser on two-deep.

Couple things.....

Of course there’s a drop off from one of the best QBs in all of FCS to his back up. But, at the same time, we aren’t dealing with rushing Makena Simis out there to beat NAU. And that’s not a knock on Simis.....his performance was incredible and led to a win. I’m just saying he hadn’t played QB since high school and wasn’t adept at running the offense.

Cam is very good at running this offense. He has a very strong arm and probably throws a better deep ball than Dalton. He really can spin it. I have no doubt he will come in and perform at a high level. The other thing is EWU defense is pretty poor. They rank very low statistically and they have struggled to keep teams from putting up points. They give up 36 points per game on avg as well as 430 yards.

I think Sneed or Humphrey can put up points with our offense. If we lose it will have more to do with our pass defense and letting EWU put up too many points than it will with Cam or the O.

Simis played QB quite a lot in place of an injured Brady and Chalich the year prior
 
Apologies are now being accepted from all of the naysayers. Was Cam perfect? No. Did he have happy feet at times? Yes. Did he miss some throws? Yes. Did the receivers drop some passes they should have caught? Yes.

Did the Good Guys come away with a good win? Yes. Cam was more than adequate. Everybody stepped up. All you sky is falling types need to loosen up your thongs and start having more faith in the TEAM and the coaches!

Bring on Portland State!
 
Brown was on the sidelines warming up throwing passes. Did not see Graves throwing passes. Graves needs to be on the field looking for someone to HIT.

Absolutely! Graves is a two time state champion wrestler! The biggest reason he played QB at Eureka is he was the toughest SOB and best leader! I have nothing but high regard for the kid and know that his best position is one he gets to lay the wood!!!!

He was also officially recruited as an ATH, not a QB. Easy to see why now.
 
Been saying it since he was signed: Graves needs to be a safety or LB. He would destroy some competition at either of those two spots.

Jace has done more to earn it at this point, IMO. Don't forget he was a walk on.
 
I believe Brown will not only be the back up this year and next, but will push for a starting position with Humphrey......look at his resume in high school and more importantly since he arrived in Missoula....he has the very good arm, size and some mobility similar to Humphry.....also the guy is very, very bright (4.0) student....he knows the offense and where to go with the ball....his leadership is there after taking Boseman high to the state championships......many people are over looking this guy imo.....no, I don't know him personally....just looking at the facts....also,,,,I had heard he is the third string qb, a decesion made a few games a go when Graves started being used on special teams and defense....Graves could be next great linebacker at about 6'3" 230 pounds, speed and a violent hitter..imo
