i was informed by a large number of you that losing the team's best qb won't change the griz record, or anything of the sort. losing the starting qb doesn't affect teams at all, if they have the right coach.

personally, i'd prefer having sneed in there against ewu and any other team.
 
I think Cam has looked pretty good. If we cant make the playoffs with him we certainly arent good enough to be a real contender even with Sneed.
 
Coaching gamesmanship- If Hauck throws out the possibility that Sneed will not play EWU has to prepare for both guys

That's not what Olson said. Didn't say "sometime this season". Said "assuming he will be back". That could mean next game.

“I’m assuming he’ll be back, I love the dude,” said Griz linebacker Dante Olson said. “He’s a great player and great leader and I’m hoping that would be alright. Cam is a very capable quarterback and whatever happens, I trust the coaches, trust the offense to get done what needs to be done.”

Hauck couldn’t provide an update on Sneed’s condition after the game but he said if Humphrey has to step in under center temporarily, or long term, he’s got a lot of confidence in the redshirt junior signal caller and the rest of the roster."

Doesn’t that essentially mean the same thing? I don’t think he would’ve said that if he wasn’t expecting Sneed to return this season.

I suspect a few people know the truth, Sneed and Bobby and coaches. Sneed could sit out all week and rest his foot and still start because he is such a gamer. This would give cam all week to prep if he has to go.

I'm not convinced a hobbled Sneed (and he definitely seems hobbled) is a better option than a healthy Humphrey, and I think Bobby might agree.
