Just going off what i heard which could have some inaccuracies (please advise if so):
1. All three would have kept Gregorak as d coordinator and at least dline coach Legi
2. Justin Green was staying with RB's (recruiting coordinator) and Germer was coming back with oline as well with all - huge deal for griz by the way.
3. Rosenbach would have been back as O coordinator for Hauck and Pease.
*Wish I could have seen all three projected staffs on paper, but that is all I had.
So Pease and Hauck would have ran more of a pro set with Rosey and Stitt runs his uptempo combo of like Oregon/Auburn offense.
Defense would have been same
Special teams could be the biggest difference between all three? This was Haucks strength but i haven't seen where Stitts special teams struggled.... don't know with Pease.
Hauck and Pease are solid recruiters at this level and Stitt has no experience but kept the right guys to help transition who have a proven recruiting track record. You either have it or don't to sell yourself, staff, program, facilities, and university...that will play out soon.
Personality. We know Bobby and Brent weren't afraid to get after players, etc and show some fire and toughness. I don't think Stitt is a push over in this department, just might go about it differently as his passion is evident to all around him I hear
Discipline. I think all 3 would discipline players when needed either on the field, off it getting in trouble, or in the classroom.
I was really worried about Stitt over the last few weeks, but when I look at this... he is surrounded with stability/experience/familiarity (former Griz players and experienced coaches on staff at this level serving under various head guys) of players/staff and I think Kent knew he wanted that in place with an "outsider" coaching hire. Haslem has been saying he wanted a offensive mind as a head coach.... at this level and what Griz pay, it is hard to get the combo of a head guy and o coordinator that both have the ability to out coach an opposing d staff consistently.
Kent knows his job and ability for a bigger D1 program AD opportunity is riding on this and that is why he was more involved in the assistants than most of the time I believe.
What am I missing?
