Griz Nation, as we are all debating the merits of the current coaching staff and the fairness of John Blanchette's column in the Spokesman Review, perhaps it would be helpful for everyone who cares about the football program and the University of Montana to take a look back and see just how we arrived at this juncture in the first place. I would encourage you to read this Missoulian article from 1/16/12, especially the second half which discusses the hiring of Royce Engstrom. Given the drop in enrollment, and the way U.M. is falling behind in research, as well as what has happened to the football program, it's time for some serious outrage.
