High School football 10/12

To the Capital fan that walked through the BHS section yelling, WOOOWHOO GO BRUINS!!! :poke: before kickoff...HOW BOUT THEM DOGS!!! :lol: :party:

That was the first Butte victory over Capital in 21 years. :rockon: And has earned us #1 in the state.

So SUCK IT to the Helena Independent "newspaper" that put down Butte last year. :laugh: Looks like Capital sucks this year. :lol:
 
If Capital sucks so bad this year, why were they up 20-0, heard from some sources that once Capital got up the laundry started to fly. How will the dogs fair in the playoffs with out of town officials and a defense that cannot stop the run??? I'm glad to see Butte finally figured out how to play decent football, but can they do it year in and year out like the CMR's, West, Capital's??? I guess we shall see.
 
Butte has lost one game this year, so I'm going to say they will be just fine with or without of town refs. Yes we know their defense isn't the greatest, but until someone can stop their O, I think they will keep rolling. And the refs had nothing to do with the way Butte came back against Capital.
 
BTW, Red Lodge beat Joliet tonight 45 - 0. Loyola Surpassed RL as the #3 team, technically, in the most recent poll as well.

Assuming all the top teams win out, the schedule has teams ranked #1 through #4 meeting in the second round of the playoffs.

And this has been a problem with the Montana Playoff schedule/system for 30+ years
