High School football 10/12

HP Turns it over on downs. RL wins 10-3. Not sure what really went on in the game other than it sounds like HP played inspired D on their homecoming. RL didn't seem to try and pass much which is their bread and butter. Oh well.

Also, the loser of Florence/Loyola will be traveling to RL in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Thanks. Hope the Falcons will be coming your way soon.

Is there an online bracket somewhere for the MT Class B playoff?

Found it...what is the Wild Card? Ex: IF Loyola had the 1st round game at home and won would they then have home field throughout the playoffs? Not quite following the system. Open to any explanations... http://www.mhsa.org/Football/Brackets/2012-13FootballBracket-B.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yeah, Loyola should host throughout the playoffs until the championship game assuming they win out. They will have to play Manhattan in the 2nd round, though, which will be tough. Assuming RL wins out and gets to the second round they will likely play Malta in Malta. Yay. I'm not entirely sure how the wildcard is picked but will be the best 3rd place team out of W/NW and out of the S. Last year RL was the Wildcard and traveled to Fairfield for a beat down right off the bat.

Ok, I was thinking Loyola would face Manhattan in the 2nd round. But if Manhattan is ranked #1 wouldn't they host? Or does ranking play into the bracket?

WTF? Since when was Class B the highlight of Missoula football? From what I read, I know Loyola would win some games in AA, but, really, are they that good folks?

Since about the 8 min. mark of the 4th Q or today's Griz game when the Special Teams Coaches had their heads buried in their lower orifice.

Watched the Rams live last night and they dismantled the #5 Vikes of Bigfork.

Helena High will have a chance to take them down at vigilante stadium next week. And they're looking pretty good, and they're due.
Let's go Bengals

HHS 88

BHS 89 here.

You guys beat us for the 1987 state championship in Butte, even though we were ranked #1 and were up 12-0 at half...you guys won 14-12.

Nice, Dad grew up on E. Commercial. You went to Lincoln Stinkin' LOL

Let me guess, your Dad went to Bryan??

Hammer, I'm from Helena and have seen Brekke play his sophomore and junior years but not this year. What did you think and where would you see him play for the Griz?

When he was a junior I still didn't think he had the "it" factor for cornerback. I really believe he would be best utilized as a slot receiver, almost how the Patriots use Welker.

kid was great and yes I think he would be a great slot reciever. His speed is what really surprised me.

My previous posts on Brekke said that I wanted him to play slot WR for the Griz.
