High School football 10/12

What has happened to Thompson Falls the last few years? I know Kegel was there forever, and had good teams most years. Has the program gone into oblivion since he retired?

Billings Central looks like the real deal. They have rolled Dillon, Hardin and Laurel. Laurel and Hardin are the number 2 and 3 ranked teams respectfully.

10/12 Central 49 Hardin O
10/05 Central 41 Laurel 7
09/15 Central 38 Dillon 17

Here's the Class A playoff bracket. If the Rams keep winning, they will host the title game.

I believe the only remaining reg season game is vs a winless Glendive. So Billings Central should be a lock on the #1 slot out of the east. Considering how they pounded all comers I like their chances to run the board and win the championship. They score early and often. Though as a whole their D line and linebackers are the possibly as good as any in the state (AA included).

The Pirates are having a great season. They should be top seed from Southern C.
Former Bobcat QB Mark Iddins is the head coach.

Red Lodge 7 - 0 over Huntley Project in the first quarter. (I know, it's not a Friday game, but it fits here anyway.)

Blgs central is a good example of what happens when there is a facility upgrade. For decades they only had the dingy old gym which was nicknamed the dungeon and their weight and workout rooms were in a "pit" in the basement. A while back they received a significant donation from Ralph Nelles to improve the facilities. That gave them more practice areas, better conditioning and weight rooms. Since then they have improved in football. boys b ball, soccer, and girls volleyball.

Bigfork is at Loyola tonight in a matchup of two highly ranked class B schools. Should be a good one.
Went to my first Rams game in MANY years last night. What a show! Go Rams!! Rams have now outscored opponents this year 380-29.

Nice, Dad grew up on E. Commercial. You went to Lincoln Stinkin' LOL

Let me guess, your Dad went to Bryan??

Hammer, I'm from Helena and have seen Brekke play his sophomore and junior years but not this year. What did you think and where would you see him play for the Griz?

When he was a junior I still didn't think he had the "it" factor for cornerback. I really believe he would be best utilized as a slot receiver, almost how the Patriots use Welker.

kid was great and yes I think he would be a great slot reciever. His speed is what really surprised me.

Did you have Mrs. Bartholomew or Ms. Connors? They are family.

I had Conners in 1st grade, but I do remember Mrs Bartholomew. I also had Mr Frank for math in 5th grade I think. I also remember Mr Maciak (sp) in 5th or 6th. He was a really big guy!
