I know a guy who went on a bender (which wasn't unusual) and woke up in a parking lot in Minnesota. Drove there and doesn't remember it. No bullshit.

Same here, I know a guy from Anaconda that went out drinking on a Thursday.....woke up in Houston Tx in a car he's never seen. He was broke...called his dad for money to get back home and ended up getting a job there for 2 years because his dad said no.

Sounds like the old Rodney Dangerfield line..."the next morning I gotta do two things, find my car, and take back the car I took."

Hermanson provided a breath sample registering a .185 percent blood alcohol level, more than twice the legal limit of .08 percent when operating a motor vehicle.

He is due in Missoula County Justice Court on Wednesday, Oct 9th for a status hearing. And there is an omnibus hearing set for Wednesday, Nov 6th.

Yes it was a very minor incident, but he knows he is held to a higher standard, especially in light of the hyper-attention focused on UM athletes. He is apologetic, and I expect good things from him going forward.

I agree with him, most people should not be proud of being arrested. I've never known anybody that was proud of their arrest record that wasn't a loser. I'm not sure if I buy that he only knows one person that has been arrested. I myself, have never been arrested, but have plenty of close friends that have been that I consider great people.

As far as Hermy goes, he did something stupid and embarrassed himself. He'll take his punishment and will be back better for it. I don't think what he did justifies much ridicule though...
