this. he quit posting on their board after being one of its most prolific posters of all time, so he makes up for it by posting about them here. he's a real message board superstar. :thumb:

Hey Mr. Glass House, do you still think UM doesn't have a qb who can get the ball to receivers and throw the ball 50 yards, and that there's no speed at receiver? What's with hammering Everett over and over? You really do act like a Cat fan.
everett razzes cat fans then complains about them posting here. that deserves hammering. for someone with over 7,000 posts on their board thats extremely hypocritical.

he had a good game, but he wasn't exactly rifling the ball around, now was he. there were no receivers burning anyone deep. the longest pass play went 50 yards, the rest were 20 or less. what he did well that you don't or won't acknowledge is he played within himself and was set up by a good run game and a weak app defense. lets see if he can do it consistently. that's his biggest weakness.

glass house? you're the one that gets all broken up when someone disagrees with you. i just keep tellin it like it is, thank you very much.

You just keep “tellin it like it is”. Still playing that fiddle, huh?

God damned, you are full of shit.

At least this was noteworthy. And really, it speaks more to smu than it does to msu.

Nope, I beg to differ. JJ had terrific zip on the ball. He rifled it. The receivers were getting open, and part of that is due to their speed. The coaches and JJ took what was open. UM's receivers have the best speed UM has ever had. Even the coaches have said that. JJ wasn't just playing within himself. He was making plays and is showing himself to be a big time play maker. Completing the first 12 passes, some on 3rd down, and 19-23, is not evidence of playing within oneself. Having a high percentage of 3rd down conversions is evidence of JJ (and the team) making plays. Yes, the run game was good, but so was the pass game. App St's defense wasn't good, but it wasn't weak either.

Like I've said before, you truly don't understand the game of football. It is absolutely evident in your posts. You just keep tellin it like is isn't.

yeah it's hard for you to imagine. i notice you never point out where i'm wrong (ie full of shit). the fact is j.j. had an up n down first year. he had a great game vs app. lets see if he can keep doing that. another fact is app has a weak and very young defense after losing several of their best players on that side of the ball. you have to factor all of that in.

Interesting analysis: If app lost several of their best players on their defense and that makes their defense "weak and very young"....what does that say about MSU's defense? You lost arguably your FIVE BEST players on defense, and have lost a couple more to injury since. Yet 'scat fans continue to argue/believe that it'll be "business as usual" and no drop off in production.
Hell, with that kind of turnover on defense, I don't blame Ash for dropping the NDSU game. You guys would have gotten ROLLED, and you know it...deep down in your hearts you know it.

the way he played his first season speaks for itself. he was up and down, but improving. this is a new year and he's two years older and stronger. we'll see if he can keep it up, but if he doesn't you won't see me on here hammering anyone.

I am not saying that I disagree with some of what you say, but this incessant “I just tell it like it is” or “I’m just objective” crap is nothing but an act.

Just give your opinion, and leave it at that. You think that telling everyone how unbiased or objective you are lends credibility to your OPINION. It doesn’t. Think about it.

i'm not a cat fan and will worry about them when the time comes. do they have a bunch of freshmen starters? how many players do they return that started or saw significant playing time?

cat fans are probably just as delusional about their team as anyone. i'm certain i could go over their and blow up some of their lame analyses as well.
