Look at last season's stats. McGillis - 17.5 ppg Hasquet- just over 11. And Hasquet had better talent around him. Granted, he was the second option at best (if you say that he and Morris shared that distinction), but I don't think that you can make this arguement because i think that if Jack didn't have to share shots, escpecially at the start of the year, then Jack would be puttin up 25+ at least. Now that the players know their roles as Charlie as the penetrator and disher, T-Mo as the spot up shooter and slasher, and McGillis as the go to scorer they are rolling. 71 points in two nights? I don't care if it was Big Sky and Stevi, thats sick. And 9-10 in the second half against the Sentinel? I think its safe to say that Jack is rollin. Oh, and monthoops, I have the answer to your question of why hasquet doesn't post up at 6'7' in Montana high school hoops. Cuz he weighs 190 lbs soaking wet and he is the least assertive player in the state. I agree with jdogcolej, if he was more assertive he'd be perceived and would be a more dominant force, but i don't know if you can question his heart because he is the leader (by example) of an overachieving Spartan squad that actually half-way plays defense, a novel concept under fischer. They are finally starting to come back to earth after an 8-1 start though (9-7 now).
