Massey has a projected Div 1 wins list out. They project only 22 teams to have at least 7 div 1 wins.
yes alot can happen in next several weeks but interesting non the less .
Montana 7
ewu 10
weber 7
davis 6
msu 5
sac 5
isu 4
und 4
unc3
nau 5
according to the massey list und will start winning and isu will tank
I think this list is way off
So do I considering Eastern can only win at the most 9 division 1 games. And I see Weber finishing with at least 8 Div.1 wins.
Yeah does'nt Isu have 4 wins already? unc 3wins ? no way und wins 4!
ISU has 3 but only 2 of them are Div. I wins. (Nevada, Poly) (They beat Western Oregon in week 1) Looking at ISU's remaining schedy it's not unrealistic that they could only win two more div.1 games. Their schedule is not favorable with at least to me their only most likely win coming at home to Portland State.
ISU remaining games.
vs Montana
@ Sacramento State
vs Portland State
@ Montana State
vs UC Davis
@ Weber State
Their best chances are their two home games against PSU and Davis. But I can see Davis beating them. Leaving them with only 1 more win the rest of the way. and finishing with only 3 div.1 wins.
UNC on the other hand would have to win at least 2 of the next six to get to 3 div.1 wins. (Only div.1 win is vs Idaho State, beat College of Idaho week one)
@ North Dakota - (Possible win here, however UNC has been a terrible road team over the years)
vs Montana State - (Another possible win. MSU is probably their hardest remaining home game.)
vs Southern Utah - (A good chance for a win here. SUU has been hard to predict.)
@ Sacramento State - (I don't see UNC winning this one.)
@ Montana - (Yeah, no)
vs Cal Poly - (Best shot here for another div.1 win)
I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities to see UNC win 4 of their last 6 and finish with 5 div.1 wins. But I also don't see it happening. I think UND, MSU, Sac, and UM will beat them. Leaving them with wins over SUU and Poly and 3 division 1 wins.
As for North Dakota I see them only winning two more games all year. And that's their home games against UNC and Sac. (Both could also easily be losses). Schedule does not favor them.
vs Northern Colorado
@ Montana
vs Sacramento State
@ Portland State
@ Southern Utah
vs Eastern Washington
Doesn't look good for them. I see at most two more wins. Possibly only 1 more win.
