You heard right.debellatio said:GrizPony said:Love to see Selle as QB coach with Pease as OC. Bobby and Brent were college roommates.
Wouldn't be suprised in the least bit if Pease is the OC. I read or heard somewhere that Pease really wanted to come back to UM and would be willing to be OC if he didn't get the HC job.
Could explain the "after the new year" comment; after a bowl game.....blackfootipa said:I am thinking there is someone on the SDSU staff that Bobby is going to try and bring with him.
Since it's not clear who "wit BF" could involve, I doubt he wants to take that kind of chance.debellatio said:DC is up in the air. He is going to have to get someone from another program unless he want to take a chance wit BF and surround him with an experienced staff.
Here are the defensive assistants at SDSU: (Short list; the DC handles Safeties)kemajic said:Could explain the "after the new year" comment; after a bowl game.....blackfootipa said:I am thinking there is someone on the SDSU staff that Bobby is going to try and bring with him.

Times 110! His green cap proved that he NEVER was a Griz!
He wore it to honor a coaching friend who died. That man wore a red hat for his defenders to be able to find him on the sideline. Bob continues that by wearing green for his QBs to find him.
True but a green wrist band would have served the same purpose.....just felt like it was "in your face" behavior.

Griz Nation is apparently getting soft and easily offended in it's old age Brint.BWahlberg said:GrizFan2011 said:BWahlberg said:Sooo Bad said:Times 110! His green cap proved that he NEVER was a Griz!

I really don’t get this “he’s throwing it in our face” narrative. It’s a green ball cap. That’s all

His friend wore a hat and chose a color that would stand out so his players could find him quick on the sideline. Stitt did the same as a blend of honoring the guy and using it as part of his style. A wristband? That would accomplish neither.

In your face probably wasn't the right thought. Not very many coaches at any level feel like they have to wear a different colored hat for the players to see them on the sideline. I can understand the "honoring a person thing" - just don't think it's appropriate to wear something other than Griz stuff on the field.
I had exactly the same thought. But that does not necessarily mean he is waiting for the SDSU bowl game, wherever that turns out to be. The conference has an agreement with the Arizona Bowl (Dec 29), but that slot will presumably go to Boise or Fresno State. There's a complicated scenario that might get them into the Foster Farms Bowl (Dec 27), but all of the other possibilities take place before Christmas.kemajic said:Could explain the "after the new year" comment; after a bowl game.....blackfootipa said:I am thinking there is someone on the SDSU staff that Bobby is going to try and bring with him.
We’re 2 years or a shit ton of transfers from being able to run a 3-3-5.UTGrizFan said:Maybe someone from SDSU? Would be interesting to see the 3-3-5
