Man, I got all that except a compressor.

...checks Amazon....

The Beatles used a compressor in many of their recordings.

Those guys coulda been all Americans if the ncaa had granted them an extra year of eligibility. Travesty really.

The last couple Big Sky QBs to try the PAC-12 for their last year didn't amount to much.

Not that I want to be an apologist for Vernon Adams, but he did very well at Oregon. He threw for over 2600 yards, with a 64% completion percentage and 26 TDs and only 6 interceptions (a QB rating of 179). He got Oregon up big and in position for a lop-sided bowl win, but was injured, after which the Ducks collapsed. Not exactly his fault. Still playing in the CFL.

Prukop, not so much, agreed.
Is shooter actually playing? I thought he was riding third string and only sees action when the goalie gets pulled.

Saw a great T-shirt at the UW Bookstore many years ago:

"What's the difference between UW and WSU?
About 300 miles and 400 SAT points."

What Gubrud needs to bring to the job is patience, durability, a strong/accurate arm...
...and a moustache.

It's an interesting concept (maybe you meant to bring it up, maybe not) about grad transfers. This isn't saying anything about Grubude, but are we to believe that anyone from an "anyone who can pay" university can just automatically get into a grad program at a superior institution? Do they actually take the GRE? Or, is it more of a, "If you've been a good caddie, I think they're lenient" situation?

Good point, CDA. It begs the question, has any ewooo grad been accepted to a grad program at UDub? Maybe they have some sort of special needs program that allows some in?

UW is known for its academic reputation. By comparison, WSU is not(maybe that is part of the reason it has been known as WAZZU). I doubt Gubrud would say he is off to grad school at WSU without being accepted. He's no one trick pony, (yes, I did some internet searching, God forgive me!!!) his HS GPA was 3.48(couldn't find his EWU GPA). Management Major. MBA program at WSU takes GRE or GMAT. Posts/Tweets/quotes from WSU players and administration back current back up QBs as quite capable, so Gubrud won't just have to arrive and say, "I'm here!" and expect to take over. This could all be 'academic' anyway, as the NCAA could turn him down for his medical redshirt season.

 They must have something. I'm simply a bit skeptical regarding these grad transfers actual bona fides. It might make sense that WSU and Oregon seem to get more of them than UCLA and UW. I remember Shoota had to take remedial math classes or something, but was then accepted into a graduate program?

Questions for our EWU friends:
1) Do any of you remember what Shoota studied as a graduate student at Oregon? Did he receive a graduate degree?

2) Is Grubrub allowed to work out on campus in Cheney? I'm thinking maybe the administration learned its lesson after famously blacklisting Shoota, but not sure.

Man, I tell ya, some of you dudes are solid gold on the comedy front!

I mean, really, the sheer amount of wit and originality it takes to misspell the names of players, coaches and Universities. I mean, boom! Pure burn city!

Don’t know where in the world you guys come up with this stuff, but it’s pure awesomeness.

So, do you know what he studied at Oregon, and whether he received a degree?
Also, do you know whether Gubru can work out on campus at EWU while he sorts all this out?
Great contribution otherwise. Pure gold. You added a ton to the discussion.

Wowser! Now Gubru?! Unreal game my man. Message board game on point.

Anyway, I scanned the sources on Shoota's wiki page, and couldn't find anything about his graduate program of choice at Oregon, or whether he completed it. I wonder what percentage of graduate transfers complete their graduate degrees.

Hmm, don’t get it, so I think I better just step down now. Way out of my league on message board prowess and should have known better. Sorry.

Why all the love for Gubrub?

I think most are just concerned Gubred has to work out at the Curves in Cheney after being blackballed by the administration at EWU. I hope it's not true.

Just stay away from Massage Envy, Gauge - that place is a scam!

Might as well rename it Misunderstanding Envy.
True story: A good friend of mine got a massage gift card to Burke Williams in Santa Monica when he was 17. He's banned from all Burke Williams locations for life. It was termed as a "common area infraction".

Gotta stay healthy. Gotta watch out for sciatica, arthritis, low-T, and a host of other ailments at that age. Positive notes for the coaches include: the fact that he only "juices" in the morning; he knows how escrow works; he can rewire landscape lighting; and likely owns a general use compressor. A potential bowl game in Florida will be no sweat as he's been eyeing a condo in Kissimmee for some time now.
