the griz backer didn't spell congratulations right, but he said cdagriz made a mistake and made fun of him. My spelling is horrible tho, so i shouldnt say anything.

I sure did, but I have made more fun of my won spelling than anyone on this board, so have at it. I can actually spell fine, I just type like hell.

i hear that. wasn't making any fun just pointing it out. i can't type worth a dang either. takes me darn near till the sabbath to find the right key.

The correct phrase, Lou, is proven wrong. In any regard, I'm not aware of any assertion of mine that has been proven wrong in the context of Gonzaga University athletics. I just pulled information from their website and posted it. Seems like you have issues with Gonzaga University, not with me. If I'm wrong, and if you believe you have disproven an assertion I made, lay it out there, and I will respond. Thanks. (And I have no clue what your Al Gore comments relate to ... are we missing something?)

-GU BB is no more relevant to this board than GU administrative matters.
-Catholics claim to have invented the tradition of education of mind, body, spirit in the copy/pasted text.

Wow, what a thread. With all this talk about spirituality, integration of the whole self, the Zags, with hardly a nod toward Grizz hoops, I expect Mark "The Bird" Fidrych to make an appearance and give a soliloquy on "becoming one with the baseball."

The Zags are good at basketball because they hired a couple of coaches who know how to recruit, coach, and keep their kids in school. Has nothing to do with the Jesuit tradition (who did not invent body, mind, spirit integration -- that is more of an Asian introduction to Western thought and religious practices).

So when do you think UMass and the Grizz can hook up in a hoops game? I think this getting together once a century is a bunch of crap. You guys are good, we're good. Let's play!

Guilty as charged. I've started not one, but two threads about GU Basketball this season. Only one of which is even on the front page.

Swilly, I haven't started any arguments about anything. I've only responded. In addition I haven't said anything negative about the Griz. I don't know what your problem is with me calling people out for making false assertions.
