You know, I was thinking about your position GB1 (that you wouldn't recruit a guard who shoots under 70% from the line, and those who do don't belong in CBB), and I have to say that now I see what you mean:
These players'
College stats courtesy of

Jason Kidd FT%= 67.7%
Baron Davis FT%= 63.1%
Jeremy Pargo FT%= 68.7%
Allen Iverson FT%= 68.3%
Andre Miller FT%= 67.6%
What do all of these players have in common according to GB1?
None of them belong(ed) in College Basketball. Maybe it's because they all belong in the NBA!
You are making this too easy. Did I not say recruit guards with 70% FT percentages? I guess I have to explain to you that when you recruit a college player, you look at HS stats. I also did some checking, and for the season, Cam is right at 70%, so maybe I should have looked at that first. By the way, Jason Kidd averaged 25 pts, 10 assists, 7 rebounds, and 7 steals his Sr season in HS, and his FT percentage was over 70% at St Joseph of Notre Dame in Alameda. He was also named the Naismith POY, so I guess I can see why you tried to compare Kidd to Cam. I still personally would not recruit HS (do you get it now) guards that aren't at 70% or higher at the line. Sinc eyou mentioned Kidd, one of the best PG's in NBA history, care to guess what the FT percentages of Magic, Stockton, Oscar Robertson, Isaih Thomas, Bob Cousy, Walt Frazier, Steve Nash, Tiny Archibald were? They are in the top 10 all time PG's. I think it is safe to say your arguement was silly, at best.
