It was like watching a game at the Smith Spectrum in Logan. :roll: Stopped watching with about 5 minutes left, because I got tired of watching MOntana shoot freethrows. Weber was not allowed to play defense, way too many one-sided ticky tacks to.
Weber's defense was often overly aggressive. Weber deserved most of its fouls (and a few more). Of course, there were also a few questionable or bad calls on them. They were hitting AJ on the perimeter on screens, right in front of the ref. Almost knocked him down several times. Had to be called. AJ drew some fouls under the basket in the second half. All looked like good calls to me, and I was sitting in the front row at that end. Looked like a possible bad call in front of the Weber bench from where I was. Weber was pushing very hard on the posts, but no calls were made.
Looks like the Weber coach doesn't agree with this Weber poster. Here's his quote in today's Missoulian:
"I had no problem with the officials. The aggressive team is going to get the calls."
