Griz vs SUU x2

Pretty classy move by SUU fouling us when they were down by 10 with under 10 seconds left. I get that strange things can happen, but that still is tad a ridiculous.
 
wow, wow and wow! back half of a tough two game road trip, after an emotional game at montana state. college basketball on the road...never easy no matter where you're playing. no senior leadership--eight underclassmen. jamar and coleman come up big, gregory is clutch. without cherry, i didn't think we could sweep this road trip. i couldn't be more impressed with the character of this team.
 
The GRIZ have to work on defense. SUU caught the GRIZ over anticipating many times, and rotation was terrible. Funny, Tinkle just mentions bad rotations as I type it. Offensively, I love isolation ball, when needed. We did it too much. We need a lot better ball movement. Glad we got so many FT's when they were fouling us. It will give us a lot more confidence in close games. Thank you, SUU for letting us getting in some extra FT's in this game.

That is 2 W's this year thanks to excellent FT shooting. Having one game like that is hard, let alone 2 in one season.
 
Biggest surprise news from this game, Ward is out for the year, and Cherry might be back soon. I guess Ward's injury is worse than thought, and maybe surgery. Cherry's injury not as bad as thought. How strange is that? Getting either guy back helps. We need Cherry's attitude, leadership, and defense!!!
