GRIZ vs. Savannah State Predictions

Griz pitch a shut out....

Go Griz!
I'm with this.

Even though it was expected that the Griz would lose, the defense can't be happy at what hit them. I just have a gut feeling the D will come out with their hair on fire. Barring a screw-up by the O that allows SS to score (something they have proved they can do), I too think the D comes through with a shutout. In fact, I can even see the D or special teams getting a couple of scores themselves. But I do not see a huge blowout the other way. With the conference games about to start, I think a bunch of guy see some PT, so the Griz score something like 45-55 points.

Griz - 50
Tigers - 7

Griz build a 31-0 halftime lead, the Calhoun brothers account for 250 yards of offense, Makena Simis throws a TD pass, and the defense records 6 sacks. The twos get a lot of playing time in the second half, so we see Dante Olson score a defensive TD and watch Gresch Jensen throw his first career TD pass.

So I assume Savannah state offer scholarships? Valpo did not and that game much a harder when than it should of have been.
I say Griz win but not by much. I think this will be another game leaving us fans wondering!
Griz 31
Sav 20
There are a lot of Division I schools that don't offer athletic scholarships, but most student athletes receive financial aid. These schools are definitely able to get FCS caliber kids. :thumb:

This feels a lot like MSVS. Just don't think they have the horses and coming off playing the Huskies the Griz win. I just hope they look good doing it, not making a lot of mistakes that don't cost them because of the competition.
Griz - 52
A Cold Savannah St - 10

I would really love to se a complete dominant performance by the Griz from start to finish! It has been a very long time since this has truly happened. I want to see a performance from everyone on this team. When Brint prints his post game report, I don't want to hear from anyone saying, "well we could have been better at this position or this one." For once I want complete domination! Maybe not this game but someone soon!

I say, Griz 63 SS-0, and IF you don't win by that much, the Griz suck! :coffee:

I want to see Griz come out of the gate hard and fast and give the backups lots of playing time.

Final score (Griz winning, of course) isn't as important as playing well from start to scrub time.
