Griz vs. North Dakota Predictions...

Where is the GSA tailgate for this game?

Griz 28
Sioux 17
Last year most of the Griz were in the southwest part if the parking lot on the south side of the alerts, which is right along the interstate.

It will be nothing like what the last Cat/Griz game we attended in Bozeman I was at two years ago.

Tough game? According to my ESPN app, SDSU was destroying them til the 4th quarter 28-7. From the looks of it, SDSU brought in some 2nd stringers to get some playing time. I didn't see the game but it looked to be kind of an ass kicking.

No second stringers or ass kicking. UND Had more yards and easily could have won, and I watched the whole game. It was 28-14 after 3 quarters. 10 penalties for 107 yards really was the difference. 3-10 and SDSU has the ball on there own 8 Sumner, the QB, rushes for 5 yards and UND gets called for a late hit with 4:30 left. they would have been punting from their endzone. SDSU fans even said the call was bad. I am sure there were calls both ways like that you just remember the ones at the end. A couple of plays was the difference. Hopefully UND starts Molberg.

I have watched Zenner in a few games and that guy is unbelievable. He runs better than anyone.

Should be a good game, we are better than last year. I also think the Griz are much better with JJ at the helm. Don't think anyone will run away with it. I will be amazed if anyone goes through the Big Sky with only one loss this year.

Oh ok. I was kinda wondering about that. All I've got are the stats and score on app. The TOP looked kinda lopsided also. 21 mins and 39 mins or something like that. Hopefully it turns out to be a good game.

Our WRs are the best in the Big Sky Conference; Greg Hardin is an awesome All-American WR who can stretch the field - I'm sure you all remember him from last year. Plus Kenny Golladay and Jameer Jackson are big bodied guys that can go up and grab the ball if need be. Kenny is more athletic whereas Jameer is huge (240 lbs) and just runs over people. I think we will put up plenty of points, but it is a matter of our defense and discipline. Our defense has to make stops/turnovers, which is something they didn't do last weekend against South Dakota State. Many UND fans are optimistic, though, because our defense played well in the 2nd half and only gave up 1 TD to SDSU.

The winner of this game will be the one that protects the ball the best. We lost last week because our young QBs accounted for 3 TOs (2 INT, 1 Fumble). I expect to see RFr. QB Joe Mollberg get the start - he nearly led us back to tie the game in the 2nd half last week. He is a big physical guy at 6'2" 235 lbs, plus he can move. If he can protect the ball, it will be a close one in Grand Forks on Saturday.

Does anyone know what section is the visitor section? My wife is a former Montana student, and we're planning on going to the game, but we would like to be with the Montana fans. I just recently tried buying tickets through the Griz website, but must have been too late or something. Thanks.

Thanks.

New QB for UND and Griz have Jordy.
Vengeance game for the Griz
Secondary is older and better for the Griz
D Line terrorizes young QB
Griz control the time of possession big time.

UND 14. Griz 34

Like I mentioned earlier, SDSU was whooping up on them pretty good 28-7 til the very end of the 3rd with 0:58 UND finally punched another TD in. I didn't watch the game but it sounds like SDSU took their foot off the gas and UND took advantage of it. The TOP was UND 21 mins and SDSU 39 mins. Very lopsided. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the Griz run the score up on them like they did to ISU last season. I know this isn't an ISU team but I think they're capable of doing it.

Here is what happens when your wife is a Griz and you are a Sioux. I like the Griz and cheer for them except when they play the Sioux and the Cats. She has been mumbling in her sleep about 600 yards, laces out, and some things I don't understand. Anyway this is what I looked like when I woke up, after I put on my Sioux hat and Testicle Festival shirt on. Sioux Suck on my forehead and a Griz emblem on my cheek. It was a long ride home to Fargo last year with a drunk Griz fan in the car. I will be the only one with a Sioux hat in the Griz section Saturday.

Never mess with a Montana Griz lady, whose ND plates say MTGRIZLOVER, and email is mtgrizlover. boy I can't wait to on my Cat hat for the Cat Griz game. Just hope I live

Life has got to be fun, and my wife has caught a lot of shit because of the photo, which i posted on facebook. All in all this is just a game that doesn't affect my life, unless the Griz lose and my wife goes crazy. Wearing my Sioux hat today she accidentally touched it and acted like she was burnt. I really wonder if the sex will be worth it if the Sioux threw the game.

SDSU NDSU and others keep trying to say SDSU took their foot off the gas. They kept doing the same things they did to get up in the game. UND's defense just woke up and made some changes and got a bunch of stops. We also switched QBs and started rolling and SDSU couldn't do anything until we threw an int in their territory on the last drive. SDSU was being aggressive and trying to catch us off guard with passes, that's not what a team does if they take their foot of the gas.

I'd say though they took their foot off the gas by getting stupid and scrapping what got them the big lead. Yeah they suddenly thought they could beat you guys through the air when their ground game was chewing up the UND defense. I recall one of their 3 and outs late where they threw the ball 3 times when needing to control the clock and get a few first downs. Dumb.

Did they keep doing what got them up, or did they start trying to pass the ball?

It is nothing like a cat/Griz tailgate in Bozeman, but still fun. My wife, a Griz, will be helping Annie out with the alumini booth. Stop over.

They did the same thing that got them there. They tried pounding the rock. They got stopped. On 3rd and long they had to pass. They had more pass attempts in the first half than the second. They just had more success in the first half. Sumner had 129 of his 157 passing yards at halftime. UND's defense (yes it does exist this year) stepped up. SDSU passed the ball 12 time in the first half and completed 9. They passed 9 times in the second half and completed 1. Zenner had 18 first half carries and 19 second half carries so it's not like they took the air out of the football. UND worked their way back into the game.

Tailgating for SDSU was the best I've seen in a long time at UND. It should be better for Montana.
