Seriously, does anybody care if ESPN Game Day is in Fargo or Austin or Lincoln or South Bend or East Lansing? Who watches it? Twelve year olds?

Fair question, but would you care if it was in Missoula?

Honestly, no. It would have no effect on me.
I can honestly say I probably haven't watched 30 minutes of Game Day in 10 years, but I most assuredly would watch if it was being broadcast rom Missoula, just to see how we represented.

Well I guess I'm the odd duck here but I'm a college football junkie and can't get enough. If I had my choice between college gameday and NFL gameday, I watch college! College football is a much better game.

100% A fall Saturday where I don't catch College Game Day just doesn't feel right.

I watch lots and lots and lots of college games, but I truly have little interest in watching the so-called experts talk about what will happen/has happened in those games. So, I rarely watch Game Day, I rarely watch pre-game/post-game shows of any kind, I rarely watch half-time shows. I just don't need/want someone else to tell me what I just watched.

I'm with you on this. Love college football but don't watch GameDay and don't ever plan or care to view it.

I think the reason I watch it is I don't often get to attend games. Without being able to experience the pre-game activities of a CFB game in person, the atmosphere surrounding Game Day makes me feel like I'm a little bit plugged into a campus tailgate. You've never watched it, so it's understandable that you might think it's a normal pre-game show. It's not.

Yes, I HAVE watched GameDay -- or parts of it -- on some occasions. They talk about nothing but BCS schools, and mostly about SEC schools. Sorry, but I just am not interested....

That's cool. For the record, the person to whom I actually responded was the one who said he doesn't ever plan or care to watch it. I feel the same way about the movie Titanic.

Apparently it helps recruiting. NDSU's coach said that NDSU wouldn't have gotten their top QB recruit (Easton Stick) if GameDay hadn't been in Fargo last year. Easton had offers from Miami (OH), Akron, Rutgers, and many FCS schools. So apparently some kids do care about it. Honestly, I have only watched it once, and that was last year when it was in Fargo. Other than that, I have just watched clips from it about NDSU.

I gotta go with Hammer and CDA, I like watching Gameday and if I am home on a Saturday morning it is on. Like 90% of America I like FBS football and want to see predictions analysis and player interest stories in the fun atmosphere that Gameday presents.
I also like looking for the Coug flag and funny signs people hold up. Mostly though I think I like getting pissed off and yelling "you are so full of shit Corso". Kind of gets me in the proper frame of mind for the drive into WA-Griz and Missoula drivers.

And if Gameday was in Missoula I would definitely DVR it and get the to stadium early.

millions watch gameday and ndsu last year had 1 of the top telecast's. people loved it and thought it was different and cool. Fargo is cool (especially with the emmy award and billy bob thorton) Relax, NDSU will represent FCS well as always!

Bullshit. '68 said they "talk about nothing but BCS schools, and mostly about SEC schools." Accordingly, although the telecast will be at FCS Fargo State, they will not talk about Fargo State or the FCS.

They will do a feature story on NDSU. They will mention NDSU and FCS throughout the show. The majority of the talk will be FBS and the key games of the day. But there is some coverage of NDSU/FCS.

A pop warner team could represent themselves well against Incarnate Word.

I watch, on average about 8-10 college football games every weekend. I watch, on average about 8-10 MINUTES of NFL every weekend. I just can't stand the over-analysis and talking heads on any of the gameday shows.

If you need really skinny people to balance things out a bit, I would suggest importing them from Malaysia or Cheney.

My parents lived in Fargo for 15 years and my sister still lives there. If you think Fargo is cool idiot of the year should be your moniker.

Is that supposed to be some sort of cold joke?
