I'm guessing there will be at least 28 called in the 2nd half. Curry and the taller guy with dark hair need to step up their game, only 20 got called this half. That's well below their average for a half I'm sure.
 
The strange orange creature dressed in horns is the odd diversion in Portland for time outs and half time.
 
Weisner, Jamar, Hutch, Deshields all with 2 fouls.

Griz are outrebounding PSU 11 to 7, and have 5 offensive rebounds while giving up 0 offensive rebounds to PSU. That's a happy surprise!

Jamar has 14 points to lead the Griz, Gregory has 7.
 
How can any team get in sync with the whistle happy officiating? I really hate these new defensive rules. Slow start again for the GRIZ this one. PSU hitting a lot of 3's. That's the biggest difference so far in the 1st half.

Agreed. Now you get whistled if you play defense. Problem is the new rules were supposed to take away some of the hand checking, but like usual the Big Sky refs have taken it to a whole 'nother level and call fouls on people for just having hands.

Makes it difficult for either team to get going and really makes the game a lot less fun to watch since there's no real flow to it.
 
Griz starting the second half with the first half starting line-up. The one that got us behind by nine points.
 
Steal by DeShields and then got it to Gregory who hit a 3. Griz up 39-34 and timeout vikings.

Weisner and Hutch are on the bench with 3 fouls at the moment, so the lineup is Dunn, DeShields, Gregory, Jamar and Kemp.

Might be the best stat for the Griz I have seen this season!
 
this is the first time this season that i have watched griz basketball. these guys aren't very good.
