Here's an interesting little theory: Towards the end of the season, a top 3 in the nation team (MSU) could only win by 9 points against a worst Griz season in 30 years. I think the sCats are in some serious trouble this season at The Brawl. As usual.
Really, you are going with that theory? I seem to remember that in 1995 that the national champion only beat a 5-6 MSU team by 9 points. Must have been a very weak field in the playoffs that year
2506, the cats sucked soooooo bad in the mid 90s that it was never a game. It was boring to play the cats because there was no doubt whatsoever about the outcome. It was booooring to play the cats during that era. It was akin to a no win situation for the Griz. The cats were so bad and the Griz so good that the Griz couldn't "win" unless they blew the cats out (as you just proved with your know-nothing comment).
It was a challenge to get excited to play the cats in the mid-90s. How does that little nugget of truth make you feel? Obviously the cats have improved and the rivalry is better for it, but you can't possibly question to strength of the 95 Griz, the weakness of the 95 cats or the achievement of the 95 Griz winning the chipper on the road against an excellent Marshall team at Marshall.
Just once in a while try to put your thinking cap on 2506, you embarrass your team and fanbase otherwise.
