I am not concerned about perimeter shooting at all. Gregory, Weisner, Jamar, and Gfeller can stroke the 3's with ease. Dunn is a better looking shooter than I expected. He just needs to remember to square up and shoot with balance.
I do think we are better on the boards and defensively this year in the front court. Kemp is going to be a beast come conference play, down low. Weisner looked solid on the boards and defensively too. Hutch will have some good games on the boards. Martin is a better offensive player than Hutch. Not to sure what to expect from Andy this season.
Kareem can score everywhere and looks like he is in better shape this season. Dunn, Jamar, and Deshields are very good play creators. Dunn is very confident as a freshman, and expects other players to be ready for that ball. His kick out to Weisner for 3 was a thing of beauty. A lob bounce pass that met Weisner with perfect timing for the catch and release. How he even seen Weisner on that play is beyond me.
This game certainly is a hard game to really gauge the team from. Other than the last 3 minutes of the 1st half, offensive and defensive continuity and flow was very well done. This team will be a very good transition offense this season too.
