TOUCHDOWN

Wow! What a game here in Sheridan tonight. Sheridan won the Region IX tournament and now advances to the NJCC tournment in Hucthinson KA starting a week from this coming Tuesday. It was Sheridan 107-100 in double overtime over Northeastern Colo from Sterling, CO. Gus Chase had 20 points, 9 RB and one blocked shot for the Generals and has one more stop and then he will be a Griz and you guys are getting one heck of a player and just an overall great guy to be around. Gus made the all regional and all tournament teams.

GO GENERALS!!

thanks again. I am getting excited for the 3rd straight year reaching the NCAA tournament next year with a strong contribution from Gus.

Hope Sheridan wins some games in the NCAA tournament. Gus's experience here will prove very valuable for him next year.

Winning breeds winners.

How'd Sukut play tonight?

Sukut played very well, here are his stats, 17 points, 7 RB, 1 assist and 1 steal. Had a good night shooting the ball, was 5 of 11 from the field and 4 of five from the line. Gus was 7 of 10 from the field and 6 of 6 from the line.

Question – How did Gordon Brown’s season go?

IMO Gordon has had a good season so far. I am sure he would have liked to get more PT and I think he deserved more myself. Here are his stats from the game last night, 3 of 6 from the field, 1 of 2 from the line for a total of 7 points but did not have a lot of PT. IMO he needs to step up on his defense and maybe that is why he don't get more PT. Man that kid can really get up in the air at 6'3"and can really dunk the ball............guess that is why his teammates call him "dunk".
