Griz @ PSU Game Thread.

Griz need to get some stops and pound the ball in to Strait, he has a mismatch in there. Rundles is stepping up and keeping us close. I doubt PSU can maintain that percentage in the 2nd half.

Great finish to the half to regain the momentum. Big shot by Mayes, mayeb he will have a Sac State flashback.

Yeah, they can't keep this up. AW can stay with strait, can't he? Great run at the end of the half with the three point plays the new and old way.

Strait is 3-3, needs more touches when he is shooting near 70% from the field on the season. Fazekas couldn't handle AS and he is better than this cat from PSU. If they start fouling him, then we may need to look elsewhere since Andrew has been a regular Roberto Duran (hands of stone) at the FT line.

Yea, sounds like we have a very balanced attack. Great to see Hasquet draining some shots as well.

The live stats on the U of M site has the logo for UC Davis in place of our 'Griz' playing PSU tonight!!! Jeez. Hope that ain't a jinx.

The stats are from the PSU site, aren't they? This team has an arena that holds 1500 people and yet we still have to link out to them for a gametracker page.

Lets just give up on the defense and stop making that such a focal point for now. Lets face it, this team blows at defense. Come on, run and try and out score them because holding them under 60 or 70 is not going to happen.

Think about it, the Griz don't travel with a stat team. The HOME team ALWAYS provides the stats, because they are the only offical stats.

Yup, I'm an idiot. I don't like the start of this half. We need a good second half start. Wow, there we go. "Cam gets the rebound, runs it the other way, down the lane and he's fouled."

Ok, I haven't been around too long and haven't listened to many griz games but this pickel barrel gimmick is his thing, right? Like Davie Niehaus' "get out the rye bread and mustard."

Mick likes his "pickle barrell" , "get off the deck" , and "no hill for a climber" best. You will know when he is going to say them before he does after a while. :thumb: I posted the PSU radio link because I need a break from it now and then

I don't know where you come from, but most of the guys the Missoula market gets are right out of boradcast school. They have had some good ones and they get hired away in a heartbeat. For what those guys get paid, we can't expect much.
