Cal Poly returns 18 starters coming off a 9-3 Co-Big Sky Championship season.
Without conference games with EWU, MSU or Montana, EWU beating you handily OOC. You better be ready on 10/19; we have plenty of returning starters, too, including one special QB who missed last year.

I believe an appropriate response from SloStang would be, "Well yes, but." Debate over.

Cal Poly will destroy you.

I hope you're not betting the house on that prediction.

No kidding. Even with the sh*t show season that we had last year, we still beat UNC by over three touchdowns.

40-17

we hear the same thing about Cow Polyester EVERY. FRICKEN. YEAR.

I'll never forget the amount of hype leading up to the game we had down there (in 08, i think) when they had Barden. Then it finally arrives and Andrew Schmidt runs all over them. They had a chance to win it but their late FG attempt was a doinker. Same thing (tons of hype) a few years later but JJ picked em apart in the second half at home.

Cal Poly- 55 off. tds last year, 41 by players that are gone. Not looking good.
Exactly.

18 starters back on a BSC championship team that went 9-3 sounds good until you realize they lost their record-setting QB and the BSC rushing champion from last year. Their QBs behind him have a whopping 3 pass attempts and 10 rushing attempts between them. RB won't be as bad, but it'll be tough to replace Williams.

I think we more than any fanbase can tell you how big a difference a QB makes, even in an run-first option team. ;)

in following the fcs pretty close,,,,and being a griz through and through,,,i could not bet my house against ndsu regarding any fcs school.....im just keeping it real......
