I actually look forward to this year and the Brawl. I think we are in for a good game and that is how I like it. I want both teams at full strength bringing their best. Copper, agreed. I want both teams undefeated, healthy, and looking to kick butt. For what it's worth, I hope the Cats can continue to imrove and compete not only with the Griz, but also nationally. It's good to have a rival that can actually beat you! Go Griz! Go Cats!

EWU isn't rebuilding, just retooling. There are some scheme adjustments on both sides of the ball to better fit personnel (deep secondary and thin LB corps, mobile QB and deep OL/RB groups). The schedule will be the biggest impediment to us going deep in the playoffs, as we'll likely be on the road.

Could you possibly use a few of those tools to build more than one shitter at your stadium?

There was one, every other year, when the bobcats came to town. Building the new stadium helped to put more fans in the stands. Yet hiring Coach Read helped far more. Winning does wonders for building a fan base.

the 24 team playoff is much better and more difficult than the 16. The first round eliminates the patsies and creates a much stronger 16 team field in the second round. some teams would basically get a first round bye when it was 16.

Really.....? Sdsu got destroyed by NDSU and shakir bell of Indiana state barely had 80yards rushing, qb Jensen threw 2 pick 6's in that loss last year.

NDSU Coach Bohl's chief complaint (as was last year) is how many fans come up to him and tell him they already have their tickets to Frisco. Which teams have a legitimate chance of stopping NDSU from 3-peating?

East Coast:
Deleware Blue Hens: don't know much about them other than they have a great program that may be due.

Midwest:
Youngstown St.: being in the same conference as NDSU gives them a playoff disadvantage

Western:
Griz: need to improve each and every game to become the machine NDSU has become under QB Jensen
MSU: no, sooner or later they show their true Bobcat ways--losing.
EWU: sounds like this will be a rebuilding year.

Southern:
Sam Houston: NDSU knows what to do with the triple-option

Who else is there that has a legitimate chance?

Chattanooga, Wofford, UCA, New Hampshire, Richmond, Villanova, Cal Poly, Indiana State, Illinois State, South Dakota State, etc. They'll probably threepeat though

Speaking of EWU, I was running Bloomsday with my daughter last Sunday. We were heading up Doomsday hill only to see the EWU Eagle mascot. Everyone was running up to him giving high fives..... I ran up to him and yelled "GO GRIZ". My daughter said he shook his finger at me. Ha.
