Griz HS kitten Gsme day thread

So far no game updates...in the game thread! Hahaha

No sound so watching and neither team is showing much. UM can't score and MSU is hapless. Lots of turnovers, but, sooner or later, MSU will begin to hit a basket. Dumb fouls on Akoh....lots of turnovers...crowd is big and I assume, judging from the age of the people in the side seats, fairly quiet. I went to a high school game play off here, and 9,000 squeezed into a gym designed for 7,500.. loud!!!

Crowd is really into it. Griz missing a lot of shots - probably due to some nerves. There was about a 5 minute stretch where any Griz player couldn't breathe on an MSU player, while on the other end the Griz could get mauled down low. Probably about 6 or 8 fouls called on UM, with maybe 3 of them being legit fouls. I think once the Griz settle down and hit their bunnies down low they'll be just fine.
 
A good thing on the officiating - so far they haven't fallen for Tyler Hall flailing about like he's been shot in the damn leg every time he shoots.

They were missing early, but got it together well enough to sit at 43-44% (two and threes) at the half. Refs managed to call over 20 fouls between the two teams in the half.

Edit: Griz starting to really pull away now (well, maybe not).
 
8:30 left. 64-41 Griz, Falls got a Tech - not really sure what he did as he was just subbing out when they called it on him. My best guess is he said something to the ref.
 
Refs trying to take control by calling a Tech on falls, then a Tech on the MT bench and then yelling at the replay crew for showing their shifty call. Dahlberg is riled up - that ref needs his whistle taken away.
