Most in this forum were giddy with getting a HC from DII program with less than stellar results, and now those same individuals are concerned about a guy coming from the FBS with more experience than Stitt staff combine.

Make a person wonder, that Jack may be right, if you never played the game you just might not know shit about football.

Just my opinion.

I am glad that you are impressed with Baer's past results.

Less impressed with Stitts and Semore results.

You are not setting the bar very high.

You got me there.

I could not be happier with Bobby and his new staff! The new DC has tons of experience and I know Bobby knows what he's doing! Brother Tim was my first choice but I'll have to be patient. Who knows it might happen yet? All I know is I haven't been this excited in quite a while... Go Griz!

 You forgot to say “guarantee.”
I’m not guaranteeing anything...but once is a dot...two times is a line...three times is a trend...SIX times as a sucky DC is almost a guarantee....this ain’t an improvement over Semore.....

Monte the mascot would have been an improvement over Semore.

Well this guy couldn’t hold Monte’s jock, so I guess we’ll find out soon enough who is right and who is dead.

Well, you were wrong about Stitt and Semore, they are looking for a job, however, Baer has one.

Regards,

Bozo

I am baffled - Why do so many on here believe Tim will be back eventually as DC. The dude is in the NFL. Why in the hell would he want to come here when he is now at the top of the mountain? Just doesn't seem logical to me.

Because coach Hauck said it himself....

I am most excited about the potential hiring of Cox. Really think he can recruit Texas and California with his ties

Just saw that on the other thread - Hopefully it pans out!

We will make the playoffs do to the softest schedule we’ve had in years.

UNI and WIU? Sounds pretty soft compared to Valpo and Sav st.

Check the con sched. At SUU and at IU are the only games we might lose. And IU is a big “might”.

Excluding IU, our con foes had a combined record of 30-48. That’s good for a 38% winning percentage. I’d say that’s pretty soft. No EWU. No NAU. No WSU. Big sky champs, here we come!

And the Griz are at fault or should be criticized for that because? Last time I checked, and I've checked for many years now, Montana, or any other team in the Big Sky for that matter, has ZERO PERCENT say in the the way the conference schedule is put together.

Don’t believe I said there was any blame for it. It is what it is. Since we’ve gone to this super conference we’re in now, the team with the softest con sched has atleast shared the title every year. I say it’s about time it’s our turn. But I am also saying that when we make the playoffs this year, the soft sched will factor into that as much as Bobby being the coach. The conspiracy theorist in me says Haslam knew this too and he had to get rid of Stitt this year because next year we would have made the playoffs with Stitt as our coach also and then the powers that be would have had a tuffer time twisting Haslem’s arm.

You may be correct, but either way I really don’t give a s@@t!! Grizzlies plus playoffs is music to my damn ears. I was a Stitt apologist and now very glad he is gone. That dude made me eat more crow than a fat man at Golden Corral’s buffet. Good luck to Bobby and I hope this coaching staff kills it. The kids and fans are certainly deserving after the past three years

I’m right there with ya. I supported Stitt to the bloody end with as much optimism as I could muster. Now I’m ready for some Bobby Ball in the playoffs!
