NEW Griz Pod - Cussin' & Discussin', with Ty Hobbs & DJ Colter of the GFPA

Listening to the podcast with Dave brought back so many good memories. The rookie shows were hilarious and you better come prepared or you were going to pay especially if you didn't know the fight song word for word. But if you had a good rookie show then when it was your time to sing the fight song, everyone would join in so you knew you were safe. If you had a shitty rookie show then you were screwed and had to sing by yourself with nobody joining in. And if you didn't know every word then you were screwed twice. Hahaha, the good ole days! Not to mention when Dave mentioned the party house at the cave. The amount of foosball battles that took place at that house were epic. I'm surprised they didn't mention Squires bar. During the season we weren't allowed anywhere near downtown so we always had to go to Squires and drink. Those were the good old days of football. Go GRIZ!

The good old days for sure….Love the Squires and The Cave references! Rookie show was EPIC yearly. We will work to get more stories on these.

Argh! The man. Hope you are well. Yes, Brady is back in Hysham on the ranch running it. I told him you asked about him and he wanted to see if you were a professor in China now. I’ll see him at high school reunion tomorrow!

i'm doing well, hope you are, too! i am not a professor in china - at one point i was going to set up a business with a friend there, but the political environment under xi got pretty unpleasant, so i bailed on it. i've been in taiwan off and on recently, and am considering doing some things there, but i have no plans to go back to china soon. never mind the shiny shit you see on t.v., it's not a rich country and those 'modern' skyscrapers are very badly constructed and falling down all the time - they just keep it off the news.

but enough of that, say hello to brady and tell him to give me a call sometime. he should still have my phone number, or if not, i think i have his.
