I'd hope the coaching staff would be smart enough to not hand the job to anyone, but personally I still have some concerns with AhYat and some of the coaches decision making last season.

The PSU game in particular highlights those concerns, AhYat wasn't getting it done vs the worst Defense in the Big Sky but it took him getting injured to put Fife in. Hopefully both have improved in those regards, and the best QB starts, wether that is AhYat, Jensen or Flowers. We cannot keep doing the 2 QB shenanigans that we've been doing the last few seasons.

Fife never took the starting job either. Coaches didnt trust him. In big games, he made critical mistakes. Lets all root for anyone the guys in competition this fall to go take the job!

I would kind of be annoyed if I was Ah Yat as well. Frank is a good reporter, but he really does ask some stupid questions. He has done it to Bobby and others and in this interview he says basically “is there anything you could be doing so you don’t get hurt?”

“ I don’t know Frank is there anything you could be doing to quit asking such fucking stupid questions?”
