Looks like Jake Olson is in a boot and on a scooter for practice. (In background of interview) Bad news, he brings a lot to the TE

Saw him in the background. Hate to see it, but makes sense why we brought a couple big TE’s in and pushed for an extra year with Evan.
Ah yat looked comfortable and confident. All 3 of those guys were good in their interviews. Geno is a born leader, looks healthy, and I can't wait to see him get after it this year!
Just my opinion, seems more annoyed as the interview progresses. Continues to look uncomfortable as he sways back and forth...being a member of the all conference, all cliche team doesn't help. Doesn't affect how I think he'll do on the field. Looks good, appears to be healthy ... Interviews just don't seem to be his thing...
He seemed comfortable / confident to me. Definitely has matured, both size and demeanor. most poised seemed Flowers. Im kinda eager to see what he does. Jensen appears to have a good head on his shoulders. I think this will be a fascinating qb battle over the next few weeks!

I can see that and agree, interviews just don't seem to be his thing. I chalk it up to his youth and disposition. A couple of sessions with a PR professional would have him more polished but it wouldn't be the authentic KAY. My impression of his interview was that he has a chip on his shoulder and is out to prove some people wrong this year.
Any chance that Flowers comes out of this as QB1?

Yes, but only if Ah Yat is dinged up. I don’t think Bobby has any plan other than to start Ah Yat. He likes the competition, but he is old school and knows Ah Yat understands the system. Ah Yat will be the starter if he is healthy. The locker room has his back.

Gotta love this interview of Geno. There is a lotta love in the Griz LB room and he keeps repeating 1, 2, and 3. Seems the Griz LBs will be like hockey with 3 lines. With 12 games straight, I imagine we are going to see a lot of guys playing this year on both sides of the ball.
This staff loves rotation, and you're spot on regarding our schedule. Even more emphasis on it!
Certainly, but probably a long shot. we shall see!
They better not just hand Ah Yat the job. If Jensen or Flowers is better then they gotta go with that guy.

I'd hope the coaching staff would be smart enough to not hand the job to anyone, but personally I still have some concerns with AhYat and some of the coaches decision making last season.
The PSU game in particular highlights those concerns, AhYat wasn't getting it done vs the worst Defense in the Big Sky but it took him getting injured to put Fife in. Hopefully both have improved in those regards, and the best QB starts, wether that is AhYat, Jensen or Flowers. We cannot keep doing the 2 QB shenanigans that we've been doing the last few seasons.
