Alicia Keys is beautiful. Did you see her on the superbowl pregame? She never goes overboard and dresses like a classy ladie
 
I sometimes give martin grief -- and he's taken some awful shots this game -- but that last drive and dish was pretty. When he tries to get his teammates involved, he's a much better player. When he just bombs away, he's a liability.

Agreed. Two absolutely terrible shots in the 2nd half but then 3 fantastic assists...Then he dribbles out the shot clock???

Like I said, how smart is this kid?
 
Squandered opporunity at 1:30. Here come the Eagles. Bucket and down by 2. The season rides on this final minute
 
Hasquet is another puzzle. He's a good outside shot. But he seems to be so much more successful when he's attacking both inside and outside. Really puts pressure on a defense. Not sure why coaches don't capitalize on that more.

thank god. but for the most part a poorly played game. its a good thing staud was hitting and our overall shooting was pretty good today.
 
Has anyone ever recruited for FT shooting ability? I think they may need to do that for upcoming years. This season could be very different if the players could make the freebies in the clutch. Glad they didn't have to hit those and still got the win.
 
Hasquett and Martin's play, Stauds good shooting and solid play by CET, were keys to the second half. Not pretty, but good and important win.
 
Martin wasn't part of the solution here...1 of 9 shooting including a missed FT? Yeah, he had 5 assists but at least that many blunders in this game-

Yes, I am picking on him...I gave him credit when he had 15 the other night. Today, not so much-
 
Hey! Did one of our coaches sneak into their huddle before Martin's last missed FT? Their last gasp looked like something out of the Griz playbook. I though Rundles had slipped on an EWU uniform.
 
It's a win. Great defense by CET on EWU's last possession. It doesn't say much for our depth when Martin plays on in spite of brick after brick. Obviously, Cam entered the doghouse to stay (for this game) in the first half. I really wonder what it takes to get Graves in a game. I really like the games CET and Stauds had. Hasquet also played well and Qvale, is spite of his offensive woes, really clogged up the middle. The Altitude announcers were lousy ( :laugh: Hasquit??) and that includes Holst (expert on the bleedin' obvious).
