What game were you watching? Gregory did that alot this year. Dribble amongst the bigs with no answer. His out of control play at times was probably his only weakness

Agreed, but you depend on your team leaders to put the team in the best position to succeed. "I think" he failed there. He looked like he was pressing all game. Hope he has a huge NIT!

Good one. Did you copy and paste that off the locker rooms in Brick Breeden? I heard they had to put those up in EVERY locker room except the rodeo and ski lockers.

Mario Dunn, Gregory, Mike W and Bradshaw all got fouled during full court pressure.. non were called. Watch the replays and you will see. Most of them are obviously fouls.Martin got fouled on his missed jumper. I'm sure EWU had a few fouls that didn't get called but man that last 5 MINS the refs sure swallowed the whistle, except on that flail job by harvey.

How does eastern have NO FOULS OVER 10 MINS.??? talk about getting calls. I think Montana needs to deploy the shoot and flail that EWU did 10 times. That way of you miss you can kick and scream til you get a foul call. Aka Harvey and Jois. Jois traveled all night and didn't get called. Harvey pushed off all night on his fade aways. Let's be honest nobody can say Montana got the calls tonight because we didn't EWU did. That being said EWU won that game with full court pressure. That's the only reason. 4 t.o with a 9 or lead. Bradshaw was a liability big time tonight. Next year he prob won't see the floor as much with the talent we have on the bench and coming in. Man gfeller had a terrible tournament. Next year o expect martin to average 25+ and win co mvp. Then we can all watch the tournament online on a laptop as it will most likely be on espn3 in Reno. Good game EWU we outplayed you yet we gave it back like this team has done all year. Looks like bigsky will have another poor showing in the dance.

I didn't agree with many of the calls down the stretch, but there's no way we can blame the officials for this one. Eastern Washington just played an amazing last few minutes and took over the game.

This, Eastern won, refs did a good job tonight, blaming the officials for losses is for low class operations...

Yep. Honestly I give a lot of credit to the Griz for staying in this game. EWU is the better team ( yes I just threw up in my mouth), but the Griz played terrifically for about 25 minutes. Just need those last 6 minutes, but Eastern was better down the stretch.

It is hard to tell what is a foul anymore, but I certainly don't think on balance the Griz got the short end of the stick over the entire game.

For the most part, Gregory has not shot very well since the Idaho game...but that is not what lost the game. It was holding the ball the entire shot clock from about the 6 minute mark until about the 3 minute mark and having someone have to put up a crappy shot instead of being aggressive to the hoop. After that it was too late, all the momentum for EWU...have to step on a good team's throat when you have them down...Griz let them back up.

EWU did well. At 26 wins, get ready to get dissed by the committee. I hope you get a 12 but be ready for a 15. Best of luck- go represent the BSC well as the Griz will in the NIT.


I liked the let-em-play refs. That's the way it will be in the Dance so get used to it.

it was not the refs. It was a case of letting up and then trying to force things when they were not there. Hope this team learns from it because that is what happened. They are a good team but lost tonight because they are not a great team. I guess there is the NIT but just feel like that is a consolation prize. When u got a chance to get to the dance, you gotta finish. The Griz did not finish. Plain and simple. Too much selfishness towards the end.

There is good chance that will change next year with 3 very good teams: EWU, UM, NAU, and probably Weber....some great talent on each team and I know UM and Weber are "reloading" with some of California's top players. UM, in particular, got a good one...Chalk this one up to an 8th place team playing for a conference championship and losing it by 4 because of a surprising defensive play kept till the final minutes. Now, everything else is simply a warm up for next season.

It will be fun to watch ewoo get ass-raped by whomever they draw. Selection Sunday is going to be Selection Funday!!! I'm not one of these guys that roots for the conference champ "just cuz." UM was picked to finish at the bottom, far exceeded expectations, hosted the tourney, and made a pre-season favorite look like chumps with their "nation leading scorer" and all that with a new coach.

GRIZ are back, on the hardwood AND turf, after more adversity than any other school in this shitty conference could ever handle. Amazing season for this new coach. We will be hitting the jets in the forseeable future, while the rest of the wannabes look on. After a home loss, I am actually optimistic.

This school is on the up-and-up, in more ways than one. Bye-bye, Big Sky...bank on it...

funny...because the announcers clearly didn't see it that way. Hell, the Eags weren't even in the bonus until 2 min left in the game. Sounds like fewer fouls were called against the griz

Correct grizinabox. The refs did fine. Like I said previously, it doesn't matter. The Big Sky is a non entity on a national scene.
