Zero points. UNC got 65 yards rushing, for 2.8 average. 153 yards passing, on 10-31 and 3 picks. 218 yards of total offense. 65 is the lowest rushing of season for UNC.

MSU gave up 17 points, 362 yards of TO, 101 rushing and 261 passing, to UNC. Colorado St gave up 17 points, 298 of total offense 107 rushing and 191 passing to UNC.

First time UNC shut out this season. UNC beat Weber last weak, 21- 17.

3-11 on 3d down conversions, and 0-1 on 4th down conversion. 0-2 in redone. That's impressive. Only 54 plays, the lowest of season for UNC. 22 to 38 TOP to UM.

Longest run of 13 yards. Longest pass of 29. 15 passing completions for UNC.

0 yards of punt returns. 18 yards on 1 kickoff.

Picks by Lee, Kluhewich and Otlewski.

My guy that QB was 7th on the chart to start the season. You just played the worst team in our conference and they are playing with their 3rd string obviously you keep them scoreless.

Someone posted that the Cats played against the same Cats. I see that that qb was 17-29 for 247 yards and 1 TD against the Cats. Do you realize how stupid you look making that comment, when the Cats played against the same QB. You and Poor are true football idiots. It's fun making fun of you two.

Are you not able to see what I was doing with this thread?

Correct. But Colorado St didn’t play that guy. Don’t get me wrong the gris d has improved but now the offense is struggling. If the gris put it together I could see them having success but we are yet to see that.

UNCO drives at MSU
3 and out
3 and out
5 and out
3 and out
3 plays- int
6 plays- fumble
10 plays- got to 25 believe they ran out of time
56 yards on first 5 drives then 65 on last.

Our 1s then forced 2 more 3-4 and outs and then I believe 2s started to get in and they scored. Defensive stats for MSU are really good but should be even higher as we have played 2-4 a majority of the seconds half at nearly every game.

Why did that qb get so many yards, completions and a TD pass against the Cats? I thought the Cats had an all-world first team D that no one can move the ball against?

Why did the all-world Cat D get only 1 pick against that qb, when the Griz got 3?

Griz did it on the road. Cats were at home. Griz were mixing in a lot of players on offense. Scoring a ton of points was not the objective for the coaches. They had a plan and stuck to it. I really like what they did yesterday. Get guys playing time. Knock the rust off after a bye week. Ensure there would be two serviceable QB’s. The team likes and responds well to both QB’s. Defense is healthier. Still some issues with coverage at times, but overall very good given the size and athleticism of NoCo TE’s and receivers. Cat fans trying to make comparisons when their own team has the softest schedule since - forever. Sad really. Now the Cats go into four game slate that won’t be a picnic. We will find out how good they are. Lots of games left and the Griz coaching staff is doing what they always do. Focusing on improving day after day.

Griz defense has improved and deserves credit. However, the Northern Colorado didn’t score on Montana States starters. It was 34-0 in the 3rd quarter when we started putting in our 2nd/ 3rd stringers. Our first string defense is great, but we definitely are still in the process of building depth in certain positions.

Context matters. It was 34-0 and Vigen put in our 2nd/3rd string which N. Colorado scored twice. Vigen said in a press conference that he’s trying to build depth.

I do see the Griz defense getting better. Think you took a step back on offense without Fife, but I’m sure Bobby knows what he’s doing there

The Griz D has improved by playing weaker opponents. The UNC QB would struggle to start for any Frontier Conference school.

Wait wait wait…..did douchenozzle troll Money jump on here to claim that the QB was 7th on the depth chart so the defense wasn’t great…when it’s the same exact QB who put up much better numbers on his own kitty cats?

Wow there have been awful idiotic takes by cats trolls here for years and years, but this may have moved into the 1 spot. What a fucking idiot.

The Cats played the same Cats? Who, besides a guy who can't write a logical full sentence, would have posted that?

That was a decent half of football for the gris. Very similar to the Cats who were up 27-0 at half, so just a bit better performance from the Cats. I'm very curious how the gris did in the second half when the benches get emptied? My ESPN app completely quit updating and it still shows 24-0.

I see TM threw a TD pass with only 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Just when did the Cats pull their starters?

Griz played backups on D early, but UNC didn’t score on them. Griz sat Fife early. 2d quarter. Ag Yat played more tan Fife. Getting more reps for Ah Yat after injury. I was mainly giving grief to that idiot money. Thx

Yeah but Hoops the cats played their 3rd and 4th stringers the whole second half…..that is all that I have heard from their sorry fan base, like the Griz weren’t playing reserves the entire game.

I'm the second half just like I said. Just like I'm sure the gris did in the second half to prevent something like, just for instance, having an All American go limping off the field in pain with only a couple minutes left in the game. Just spit-balling there. The key to making sure that doesn't happen is to get out to big lead in the first half just like the Cats (27-0), and the gris (24-0). What's weird tho is that my app didn't give the final gris score and got stuck at the end of the first half. ESPN stats got all messed during our game with NCU, so maybe that has something to do with it. Hey I'm agreeing the gris played a great first half jumping to 24-0, not quite as good at the Cats, but a damn fine half of football. I'm excited to see what the final score ended up being.

Bergan coming in for a play had nothing to do with score. Up 24-0 in red zone with a minute or two left. Must have been a play designed for him, as I think he just came in before play. Can’t recall for sure. His being in can be questioned, but can’t be blamed on the score.
